awww so cute, what substrate do you have her in? I have my boy on papertowel but wonder if he may be happier in something like that.

I have her on Cypress mulch. She LOVES the cypress as she burrows in it and she feels super secure. The cypress lets her burrow which mimics how a borneo / blood hides in the wild as an ambush predator with only her snout and eyes sticking out. I keep it slightly damp to the touch. Not wet, just a little damp. If you use cypress DO NOT BUY A BLEND...the blended cypress may contain cedar which is TOXIC to reptiles....if it says cypress blend....don't use it. I am also gonna try Aspen as I was told by a very famous blood / borneo keeper she keeps her pythons on course grase aspen and they do very well on it.

I know that my girl seems 100x happier since I switched to cypress from newspaper. Sorry for the long winded reply, I get that way...lol!

Not long winded at all!! Much appreciated I have been gifted a very nice 37 gallon tank and want to set up my big borneo male in it and trying to get all the right things for him though someone really needs to explain to him he is not a tree snake.. he really loves to perch if allowed anyways will post the set up once I have it done!
