    first time owner
    i just purchased a ball python 2 weeks ago he/she has no problem eating and i think it has a shedding problem,

    i was wondering if anyone can give me some tips on age and how to figure out the gender

    Make sure you provide good humidity I'd say 60% so he could shed in one piece also for gender you would have to pop him and to be on the safe side I'd contact a breeder who knows what he's doing so he can pop it for you

    thanks its just idk if their are any breeders in my area and the vets charge $55 to tell me the gender

    There are plenty of video's on youtube, but I cannot stress that being careful is key.

    yea i think ill try to do it myself, any tips on what not to do or if i should expect a bite and my ball is about 2ft maybe 3ft and the store owner said its 11 months old. is this true?

    Just be careful you can injure you snake. Google breeders in your area first, maybe there is one who could show you.

    Yes I forgot use some YouTube videos that might work just make sure ur not hurting him or not doing it right I don't think you will be expecting a bite either
