Color development in the egg?

Ok I would first like to say that I don't want this to be a discussion about when or if to cut eggs. I may have been a little impatient but I'm going to be out of town during the "safe" window to cut. (and I wanted to see) ok my question is are babies going to develope color at about the same rate in the egg? I have a clutch (I cut at day 46) it was a pairing between my butter and a normal. The normal has always givin me that feeling like I don't know to me she has a look. Anyways, first three I cut are mostly white with faint yellow patterns...I'm just thinking they haven't colored up yet. The next one is way darker?! Almost brownish gray and white?? Not weird looking I guess but a one of these things is not like the other kinda thing. Well number five was another light one so, thoughts? I could guess maybe four butters and a normal or four normals and a butter. My other clutch of butter to normal the butters are lighter than the normals (they are at day 51)

Its possible that you can tell the morphs from the normals at this age as the blacks do tend to come in first from all I have read.

But I would be a heck of a lot more worried about the care of the eggs now that they have been cut.

If I had been leaving I certainly wouldn't have thought of doing it.

I like to spray the eggs with water occasionally once they have been cut and to remove any "scum" of detritus or bacteria that starts to form if that doesn't wash it out.

Who will be looking at your eggs that you trust to do that?

For some reason I have trouble posting pictures without my wife's help X/
I can take some and email to someone no problem. I have a friend I trust to check on them, but he's never cut before.

Hmmm guess I do need my wife. Hopefully they find there way to you. But after looking at the pictures (maybe the flash helped) Im guessing one is a butter one is a normal and three haven't decided yet :/ I hope it's more than one, I think that's all I got in the other clutch to. Maybe the odd gods are saving it for the butter to bee pairing.

Looks like good odds on this clutch, my other clutch looks like the opposite though. One butter and four normal. But five out of ten is ok with me. I have friends that I would like to give some free ones to. And it would be harder to give away morphs. ;) now I hope for all girls :please:

lol, I'm on the look out for that special lesser female

1st clutch is out. (not the ones pictured) I got 1 butter and four normal. One normal has nice granite markings and darker colors than the others. I'll post pictures as soon as they shed and stuff. The other clutch looks good they are due to hatch on the 30th. And my bee should be laying in a little over a week.
