Are you ever not nice? ahah

Aha, I know no one likes to be mean on here and if anyone post a picture of their new snakes. All i see is "nice pick" up or "pretty snake!" but i was wondering if anyone ever said "Nice you got a new snake but i do not personally think it is the best example" Just to give people your honest opinion.

Not saying I do not like you guys being nice >.<

Also, off topic but i am getting my Motorcycle license soon =] The classes are pretty fun!

I seen criticism before... cant find treads right away but believe me they exist :D

I remember a couple of years ago there was a glut of "rate my ball python" threads that got pretty harsh. In general, it's kind of mean to trash someone who is excitedly posting their new snake pickups. I tend to comment on the snakes that I particularly like.

I try to be polite to 99% of people.

Rarely, when that last 1% posts asking, what do you think of my.....? I tell the truth, harsh or not.

On the other hand, someone who posts pictures of a snake they are considering for purchase, I tend to be quite brutally honest.

Oh, i am to new for that one aha
but not so much trash. but simply say a little criticism. kinda like people do to art work. it would help in the future you know? but i do see how people can become offended.

I try to be nice, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If someone bought a snake that's the best quality they can afford, and they think it's great who am I to judge. If I think it's a particularly poor example I just don't comment.

Since I take in rescues, and most of them happen to be burn victims, I sure you can imagine their state. For me to see healthy well cared for animals, even if they aren't the perfect example of a said morph, or have just one eye etc. I see the beauty in them.

I know what you're talking about, I some times think the same thing. I also see some people who just leave two worded comments just to make a comment.

But I don't say any thing when I don't think a snake is a great example because If I don't have any thing nice to say I wont say any thing at all.

ive trashed someones enclosure pic in the show off your set ups thread.i got railed for it by other members and ill still trash it!
