The BIG MOMENT! Powder moves to her new 4x2x1! PICTURES INCLUDED

Hey everybody :) well, today was the day. I picked up two fake plants and some cypress bedding, wired up the flexwatt, put it on my Herpstat and ZING you get this:

I think it turned out well :)

Ive been waiting to do this for at least a month, I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I couldn't be happier with how things turned out

Big shout out to Chris at Mrherp! Hes a Canadian reptile supplies distributor and he is the reason this cage was possible. He did me a BIG favor and I cant thank him enough!

Yeah I found that blanket (from when I was LITTLE :O) and.. I needed to trap some of the heat from the flexwatt so, there it went :)

and yes, she enjoys it so much infact that she was comfortable enough to eat a nice big 70 gram rat about 30 - 45 minutes after she got in it :)

Thank you :) I am very happy that this cage will last her for a few years, and someday.. she will be big like your girl!

I am convinced she is going to be a giant, her growth and weight gain is CRAZY.. off the scale crazy (I do not power feed her, I use to feed her 40 - 50 gram rats, but today I fed her a 70 gram rat and thats the size she will be on now) keep in mind she weighs over 600 grams (last time I weighed her at the start of June she was 556.. im betting shes well over 600 grams now)

I also measured her length at the start of June, it was 3 ft 6 - 7 inches. and she is only 10 - 11 months old!!!

So, im hoping that some day she will be over 9 ft, 10 - 11 foot would be a dream come true :)

Looking good, she looks like she's enjoying it already :D. I can't wait to order mines.

Thanks! Yeah she has really settled in nicely! She hasn't shown ANY signs of stress at all, no roaming no trying to escape nothing. she is hiding (althought in a plant) and.. temps are PERFECT! constant 90 - 91F hot side and 80 - 82 cool side, perfect humidity.

She must be in heaven :)

Yep, they are two caves, I know they are very well camoflauged :) that was the goal.

but you can see them with the plants hanging on them, if you look good :)

Thats a nice looking cage, and great job with the furnishings. I bet she will love the cypress bedding. I must say, the Sponge Bob sheet really sets it off. :rofl:

Thanks! I really tried my best to imitate her natural conditions, and I think I hit that mark pretty well. Overall im overjoyed with how it turned out and its gonna be a blast to watch her grow and enjoy that space :banana:
