anyone seen this pic before?
do you think it's real or photoshopped?

to me it looks pretty real....
still doesn't seem like a good idea to let a rectic take a bath with a child ;-)

looks pretty real to me. man if that is real somebody really needs to get their priorities straight. bu then again people in other countries are sometimes unaware of things but still.....big snake with child in bath? seriously stupid move.

What the... is it just me, or is he scrubbing the snake with a bar of soap?

(not to mention the obviously lacking parental care)

thats got to be a photoshopped picture theres no way that a kid could wash and handle that big of a snake.

It really does not look photoshopped. I assume the parents (or whatever idiots) put the snake there, so the kid wouldn't actually have had to move it there.

look at the hand and zoom in....theres more white that shouldnt be...i go to school at itt for animation and i am using photoshop currently

that pics has been circulation on the net for a while and i dont think anybody can say for certain if it is a chop or not. looks real to me but never know.

Its a photoshop chop job for sure like pat said look at the hand its easy to do put snake in spot take pic move snake replace with kid take pic, place both pics in photoshop and with a little art skill its done.

I dont think its photoshoped, you dont have to be 7 foot tall and built like a football player to sit in a tub and hold a snakes head or "handle a snake that big"

It depends on what you mean by "handle"

that has to be real,the hand holding the snakes head is perfectly grasped in the shape of the snake head. if that is photshop i wish i could get some lessons from who ever did that!

From the references I've seen to that picture, it's from the country retic's are from. Supposedly that is the family house pet or something like that.

I would not be surprised if that picture was real. Remember customs are very different throughout the world, including parenting.
Also know that in Asia / Indonesia there are many wild caught reticulated pythons and an over whelming amount of different reptile species being captured, mutilated, killed and sold in the streets. I have read countless reports of dealings with vendors who do horrific things. (everyone needs to make a livelyhood, don't get me wrong, but maybe we should pay these folks to protect instead of black market these animals)
I remember hearing of the "de~toothing" process in which large snakes teeth are removed and mouths sewn shut while alive for display and sale purposes.
I can easily believe this picture was not photo shopped

And just think...i'm sure those people are looking at pictures of Americans saying "THEY HAVE DOGS AS PETS! that's my lunch.."

and i would have to agree on the dog thing too. I looked at the photo and saw a few flaws but nothing that screams photo shop.
