    Spider or Albino poll
I want your guys' opinions on which ball python morph is better looking, because i am going to buy one of them soon. The spider is a male and albino is a female.

I have to say when I first got into ball pythons this decision would have been easy albino hands down. But now its not that easy I absolutely love my spiders and combos best combo maker in the game in my opinion.

I like them both, so it's hard to choose. One of my most anticipated target morphs is a spider albino, so I looked hard to find a spider that was het for albino. She cost about twice much as a regular spider, but hopefully it will be a good investment.

that is a hard choice, also depends on what you have planned for the future if you plan to breed. I love the look of albinos but I really love all the spider combos you can make:gj:

If for the first time,Spider is a Good choice ,a dominant also...Albino is recessive...when it comes to breed,i found dominant is better than recessive...(my opinion).......Spider is cheaper than albino..hahahaa:D...Spider can mixed to a Lot of morphs too..

hard for me to pick. I'm partial to spiders but a nice albino is something that even non reptile people recognize..

This is exactly what I was thinking. If it were me and I was just looking for 1 snake to display and keep as a pet then I would have to say Albino because like Freakie_frog said, you can't mistake an albino. Spiders are awesome to and has its advantages in the "coolness" department lol but as stated before, It depends on what your plans are for it :gj:

For me, I will choose Albino BP bcoz of 'She'.
Thn get another Spider BP a year later whn she almost ready for breeding.
As wat I read, she will only ready for breeding is whn she more thn 2 years old.

If we're just talking looks, albinos are gorgeous.

They're just so clean and fresh looking. Some of the best looking snakes out there are albinos!

If your picking by looks alone that should be a personal decision IMO.

A female albino will only go up in value and a male spider will typically go down or stay the same in value.
If you have any aspirations of breeding in a few years the best idea would be to get your females growing and worry about a male next year or when you find the right male you want to breed to her.
If it's only a pet then your back to my first comment, get the one the makes you smile the biggest when you see it.

Lol, Both! I can't wait to add a spider and an albino to my little group. You could always get both and send me the one you don't want. :P

I think the fiscally responsible choice is to get the albion girl now, get a het albino spider later. Lots of males will breed at only 500-600 grams or so and spiders trend to be really good eaters and breeders. If you get a female now, you can focus on getting her up to size. A spider, even a het will lose value faster than a recessive homozygous.

If you REALLY love the spider male, get him. If you just like him cuz he's het albino, you can wait until one that is special or was sired by an albino whose color/pattern/whatever will really fit well with your female.

In the end, it's your choice! :D

O wow I knew it that One day this will come...

I dont Like either one... and I know i probably will be crucified for that...

I HATE albino balls... If You need something white go with Bel or Ivory

I'm not big fan of Spiders as well... Somehow because of wobble thing... but mainly because i think pinstripe outranks spiders in every way..

    Jut my 2 cents...

I would say it depends on what you have and what you want from the animal. do you intend to breed or simply as a pet, and a show piece?

personally i would go Albino either way. sure a spider is cool looking but it still is standardish colors. Albino is not.
