    Mojo x Normal HMM?
Well I cut the eggs today 5 egg clutch from a normal female virgin.

5 eggs, theres 3 mojos, normal and this odd all white fella in there.

Any ideas what its doing there since shes a virgin and normal. Before anyone says, its not the belly. The sides you can see are white no pattern as well.

Normal came from friend in PA and mojos came from Gerry in florida. I called Gerry to give me a call to see if he can track the records on the male.

At first i was like oh its just the belly. Then it moved and the sides were all white.:please:

I second a het. Russo, they're really tough to tell from normals but have a similar look to your girl from what I've seen (if my memory serves well). They're in the same complex as the lessers, butters and mojos for making blue eyed leucistics.

It moved enough when i was touching side of egg to get it tu turn over. At first the umbilical cord was on top, then moved over and revealed the back and i see no pattern

Rich, that's really neat. A couple years ago on KS someone had a similar thing happen but I never saw a follow up. He posted the female and asked what it was and everyone responded "normal". He then showed a clutch with a few white heads. Interesting stuff. This hobby never gets tired!

well i had to take a double take at it and theres dorsal pattern of mojo in there. So looks like this could be a reduced high blushing mojo since sides are white.

Very interesting to see what it looks like once out. The head pattern i got to see as well is blushed out as well. Only time will tell what comes out.

Heres another mojo? that started out jut like this one and well check it out. Started out all white than developed like this.

Im loving all the guesses of what it could be, and its killing me not knowing 100% yet.

Ive never had one have this white faint pattern while rest are fully colored. Soo exciting I cant Stand it right now :taz:

In a weeks time ill take another picture to see if any pattern came it or not.

That is so awesome. Congrats Rich :) This is the kind of stuff that got me into Ball Pythons. There's so much uncovered stuff that is stumbled upon. Unlike some of the other cool threads that start on here and are never updated, you are active so I'm sure we'll see the end result! Subscribed.

I am just guessing could it be a natural albino? Sometime we forget that 2 normals can produce albinos, it is just one in millions of a chance. So is it possible to be some sort of albino mojo?

First of all Congrats Rich. Since everyone else has thrown his .02 in the ring, I figured I would as well. I am voting for Mom being a Special, and that thing in the egg is a Crystal. It sounds like the odds would be right, and I am guessing that Mom is just a bit lower grade than a typical Special. Either way, that is awesome, and I can't wait to see it all the way out. I am betting there is more visible pattern to be seen that will develop a bit more as the baby ages (remember that color comes in last). If you start to see faint pattern develop everyday into something slightly more defined, I would definitely bet on Special.

That sounds just like what im seeing right now when the baby turned over and is seen the faded pattern. That would be awesome if a crystal popped out as i been looking at them recently

I definitely second "special." I've squinted at a lot of pictures of specials in the past year on account of one of my female dinkers ....

Think you may well have hit on what I was hoping to hit on! :O

Congrats and can't wait to see the whole snake! :D

    Rich,
After watching your video, I am pretty confident in saying that is a Crystal. It will not develop color into a Mojave. Just for future reference, I have never seen one baby drastically different from another in the color department. You can always compare hatchlings of the same clutch together to get a feel for color development. When they are "that" different, it's because they are different.

Congrats. I would be stoked. Matter of fact, I bred three girls this year that I thought were "possible" specials, and hope to have the same luck as you.
