    First clutch of the year!!
Ok, this has taken a while!! Out of my 2 girls 1 layed today!!

Bumblebee x Pastel = 5 eggs around 95-100 grams each!

I am so hoping for my 1/8 chance of a killer bee!

    Will put up pics soon..

I will add that 1 did roll over, may have been 1/4 to a 1/2 turn only, when I was removing the hissing mother.. what do you guys do? keep it like that or guess what the actual top was and turn it again?

I wouldn't worry about the egg that rolled so long as it had good veins to begin with.

That was some good reading! Mine rolled over less then 18 hours of being layed! On the old way of thinking it should be perfectly fine, and even after that reading i have NO worries.. :)

yeah should definitely be fine. the house that was powering my incubator lost power a couple weeks ago and temps dropped 7-8 degrees for a few hours and survived an hour car ride in torrential rain/hail and my mustang sliding all over the road. all look good and are gonna be cut Friday on day 54 :D they are pretty hardy little things.

Day 51. They are all super plump. And after candeling I think they ALL atleast are spiders. My boy always tosses atleast 75% spider

Ok. Day 54. I cut. Couldn't take it anymore. Lol.

The results are ..... I think .... 1 defenetly a killer bee. Either another killer bee or it's a real nice bumble bee. 1 spider. 1 super pastel and maybe another.

The second pastel has the same body color as the super, but since I can't see it's head I can't tell. The ones that are defenetly super and killer have real blushed out heads and body.

I'll post picks once they pop out. I'll know 100% then!!

They are all poping there heads out of the egg now and then. But they just will not come out. They are all so cute right now.

Yea. That one is deffenety a killer bee. Tiny blushed out spider lines with a almost straight white head and body still. The second bee in the clutch has the same lines but sid black and is starting to get a little yellow.

THey need to come see daddy!!

Looking at the pics again. That was the bee in the middle. Not the killer. I'll post pics later today of the killer.

Ok. Weird. In person those lines are grey due to blushing.

well..... The killer poped out last night.... with a little yoke attached.. Put him in a small tuperware with a moist papertowel and put him back in the incubator.

He looks GREAT! will take a pic once he is ready.

Anyone else have a better idea with the yoke issue?

Well here we go.. they took until day 65 to finsih coming out. Here are pics of all the little ones. There is a Killer bee, Bumble bee, super pastel, pastel and a spider. BUT.. can someone explain why they ALL have a yellow stripe down there back?? even the super pastel has a bright neon yellow stripe! All my spiders that I produce have that, but never my pastels or combo's......

Here we go.. all pre-shed pics of my First clutch for 2011!
