Re: Mites take over
Hi,
Mite off is junk.
Buy Provent-a-mite and follow the instructions exactly.

You probably haven't used Provent-A-Mite, also referred to as PAM.
It will get rid of your mite problem 100%.
Just don't spray it on your snake, or in their water bowl. It explains everything on the label, so you must follows those directions.

Ok where do they sell it? Think the evil petsmart would have it?

PAM, is only mail order here in San Antonio
I use Natural Chemistry Reptile Spray, it works great for me. One of my rescues was infested and after about a week I never found a mite.

Re: Mites take over
I had a mite problem a few years ago. I used Reptile Relief and haven't seen a mite any where since.

PAM is the only way to go.

I have been using reptile rwleif for bout a week or so and when I soak the snake in water between treatmnts all I se in the water after soaking is tiny red specks floating...are the specks mites orpieces from the coconut husk I use in the humidity hide...also when I wipe water off of snake after soaking the paper towel is dyed red also.

Is your husk red? Mites are black specks.
