I'm not sure what you are looking for, but I'm seeing a BCC with some stuck shed.

It's not a true red tail (Boa Constrictor Constrictor). It's a Common Boa (Boa Constrictor Imperator), also known as Colombian Boas, or Colombian red tails. This one looks to be a 2 - 3 year old sub-adult who's having a bad shed.

If that's a BCC, I'll eat that shed. It's tail isn't nearly red enough. It is, however, the perfect coloration for Common Boas.

I'm not too good with identify boas. I saw it mostly had markings that looked like {} which I know BCCs have. I'm not saying you are wrong, because as I said I'm not good with boas, but the coloration is probably really off too because of the lighting.

Eh...could be, but I really doubt it. I'm 95% sure that's an Imperator. Either way, I'm sorry if I sounded harsh. I re-read what I had posted and seems much edgier than I had intended it to be. :)

There is no way to tell locality unless you were told by the breeder which locality it is. There are very few distinct localities, and even then it's almost impossible to tell.

Well thank you so BCI is the majority vote. I've been trying to figure him out forever. I was told a Peruvian pastel red tail boa.

I can definitely see some of the saddle peaks, which is not always accurate.
And it's possible that the reds are muted due to the lighting and stuck shed.
What has me leaning toward BCC though, is the shape of the head, at least, from the angle that the photo was taken. I can't commit to BCC without some more photos of the head from different angles, and maybe a photo of the tail in natural light, with the stuck shed removed...
