New GTP
Got my GTP in the mail this morning from our very own TrpnBils.

It went into its new enclosure with no problems, and was cruising around checking things out. After a few hours I opened up to cage to double check temps and the little dude showed his true colors and gave me a fierce strike.
Really looking forward to watching the little thing grow and change over the years.

Re: New GTP
i'm a neophyte on this type of forum, so i don't quite know what to do, but since this post seemed sufficiently related to my immediate purpose i wanted to ask whether anyone has any advice on keeping chondros.
i acquired a sub-adult recently from a collector who was downsizing, and previously i've only kept corns, ball pythons, and bearded dragons. plenty of experience with herps in general, but i've never kept anything with specialized i've done plenty of research into the husbandry requirements of GTPs, but i'm curious to know whether anyone has general advice about things such as the use of live plants, automated misting systems to keep humidity, optimal times for handling, etc.
thanks, and apologies to anyone if i haven't observed proper etiquette or if the post is off-topic.

Chris - glad it's settling in well for you!
wwmjkd - an automated misting system, while not inappropriate if done right, is way more complicated and expensive than what you need.
