Anyone know where I can get a cheap gram scale to weigh my future bp? Also how often should I weigh bp's?

Ditto I got mine at Walmart too, I thnk its Oneida brand. But be aware if you go to walmart looking for a gram scale....it's in the aisle with the kitchen utensils (ladels, strainers, measuring cups, etc) on the bottom shelf! Took me and 2 employees 20 minutes to find it! ;)

I have this one :) I clear it out with a bowl on top, then place the snake in....they usually form to the bowl and look at you like "wtf are you doing to me?" then before they know it your done :)

Weigh him/her in a tupperware bowl of some kind. In the time it will take for them to get out of the bowl, you should be able to grab a quick weight...

I weigh mine once a month. Usually on the first or just before feeding day. I have 18 balls so weighing and recording everytime the poo would keep me VERY busy. I found that a monthly weight lets me know if they are losing weight or gaining it.

We have around 40 now :) I don't think it takes that much time really. We use a large bowl on top of our scale and most of the time they just lay there while I clean the tub. Weighing every time they poop allows me to ensure it's an empty weight.
