Just got home with my first BP
We just got home from picking up my first BP.

it is in it's tank and hiding right now can't wait to see it start to move around and this waiting period to really look at it is going to be killer.

Will be going back in 2 weeks to get it probed to find out what exactly sex I got.

Now to think of some names.

Thanks everyone. Right now it is hidden out of sight. I thought it would go under its hide but instead it is hiding on top of it in the plants. But o well as long as its happy in there that's all that matters to me.

Here is another picture I took of it right after I put it in the tank

When I got home from running errands it was completely gone from sight. After a little looking around I found it balled up on top of the left Hide which is the hot side.

And here are my kids excited to have a new pet

I love his pattern! He's a tad on the thin side, but you'll get him looking nice and chubby in no time!

It is probably a little thin cause it was suppose to be fed this past weekend but cause of the holiday it wasn't. Also the owner of the shop found out her worker was only feeding them every 2 weeks instead of 5-7 days. Once the first week comes up I will attempt to feed it and then give it another week of adjustment.

It definitely wouldn't be that thin from missing just one meal. Takes a few months of inadequate feeding to become thin. Like was said, I'm sure he will be up to proper weight in no time at all. :)

Ok...well I will for sure be attempting to feed it in a week and then start the 5-7 day feeding cycle. Can't wait to try my first time.
