My buddy Xavier Saci Springer was kind enough to come over and take some pictures for NERD's new book. I hope you guy enjoy looking at them. The Light Josie is now called Ultra Josie.

Nice pics!! Looks like the white balance is still a little off. I've done shots with a $500 SLR and $2000 SLR and notice the sensor in the camera plays a big part in getting a really nice white background.

Very nice! How do their bellies look, I have a snake that looks very similar... The Ultra josie is my kinda ball, looks like theres yet another morph to add to the list. The original Josie has a very nice stonewash effect, very cool. Thanks for sharing! ~Caylan.S.~

Thanks for all the comments guys!!! Yeah NERD has a new book coming out and I am hoping these guys make in there. I also just got some eggs from a Josie X Pastel so we can see what that will do :)

The mother carries the Ultra gene I believe. I have no isolated it yet but should be able to this season. I have bred the Original Josie to 5 normals and none had an Ultra. I am thinking she is carrying a gene kinda like the Het. Platty or maybe something else. Future breeding will tell me what is going on and I paired up the same balls that made the Ultra so I hope to see more and will pay closer attention to the normal looking or not so normal looking offspring.

Thanks and I definitely hope the season goes well with that cause that ultra josie is sweet!

I like that ultra josie. It almost looks like what you would get if you took a pastel YB and painted over the flames and blushing with black. It ups the contrast and makes that yellow really pop.
