Re: lets see the dark ones :)
Here is my favorite dark girl. The pic was taken about a week after she laid so shes a little thin, but its the best pic I have of her.

I've posted her before on other threads. Here is my darkest girl and dinker project (Although she never took this year after locking with my spider several times). She has some scars that were there when I purchased her. I was told they were from a regurge but believe it was most likely from a burn or a unsupervised feeding. Doesn't change the fact that she has great coloring and pattern!

LOL, ok you busted me...
We bought a 1.1 pair from a "less than well known" breeder  so until I prove them out they are dinkers...
I was hoping "lets see the dark ones" didn't rule out dark morphs :)
Re: lets see the dark ones :)
I bought this girl at a pet store 10 years ago this summer but she has since proven to be a chocolate (produced supers last year).

The one on her tail is epic! Its a giant knot/scar the size of a ping pong/golf ball. She definitely has character.

Dark and odd Mojave from the female in the next picture.

The Mojave was not big enough this year, slow eater, so I bred her to a Super Sulfur male.

Might be a chocolate mojave Dave. I can't tell for sure in that pic, is the back of mom's head light? I can't say I'm 100% on IDing chocolates yet but she has some features (moderately wide dark side pattern with pixilated fading in the centers).
Here is my chocolate mojave who is also borderline for laying this year (older pic though):

Ok question from a newbie....is a "chocolate" a morph? Or is that just a term for a dark female who proves out to carry a "dark gene" and produces "dark offspring"?
I will go take a couple pics of some of my big normal females...a couple of them are MUCH darker than the others....I know they are normal....so I didn't know if the chocolate was actually a morph or just a type of coloring (does that make sense?) Kind of like pastels...there are blonde pastels but they are still just pastels even though their offpsring may be ligher yellow. So normals can be chocolate, but still be normal even though their offspring may be also dark?
Hope that makes sense.....

Yes chocolate is a morph, which is Co-dom with a super form. They are not all created equal, some are dark, some arent.
