    Greetings from Indonesia
Hi, I'm New here. Firstly please excuse my English, I might type a lot of messy and wrong grammar lol, English is not my first language, so I might miss a word or two here and there.

I would like to learn a lot from this forum about reptiles, make new friends and practice my English lol...

I don't have much in my collection right now, lots things happen and A reptile keeper is not really welcome in the neighborhood. So it's kinda "complicated", got a big riot when my 4 meters Burmese got out, whole neighborhood ambush my house lmao!

Thanks for reading, and hopefully you'll visit Indonesia and specially Komodo Island someday!

    cheers from Indonesia

Hi Mike, thanks for the warm welcome. Yup... true to say I am lucky to live where the Orang Utan live and the Komodo crawls and the big lizards monitors breeds in the wild, you can see that quite often in breeding season :).

You are always welcome anytime, Sumatra, Borneo, Java dan Papua are waiting for you

    That is a great photo.

I have always heard that it isn't the Komodo that you can see that you should worry about. But the one behind you...

ha ha, Don't worry about that as long as you are not bleeding!
Komodo are very aggressive when they smell blood just like sharks, once I fell and made a little cut on my face, I bled just a liiiiitleee... and suddenly a Komodo sneak out from it's hiding place tried to get the source of the blood.

It was preetteeey scary, luckily we never venture the jungle alone without a guide, he pick some leaves to stop the bleeding and eliminate the blood smell...

Anyway, the won't let you walk alone without a guide, and komodo are too big to unnoticed, they will make sound when they move on the bushes, so you always have time to run while the guide chase them away :D

so beware ladies in their period lmao!

And this is the REASON WHY... You probably will not able to see that Komodo in the bushes, and trust me... you don't want to step on one of that! lol
