I feel like she has some potential. I have no idea about morphs
I paid 80 for her. And like I said I know NOTHING about morphs and stuff but her marks just seem so different than the others she was with and the other that i bought. She could just be normal but I was just wondering.

very interesting...the speckling around the alien heads reminds me of black pastels, and s/he does look particularly dark...only one way to know for sure though! good luck breeding!

she is still a baby :) I've only had her for two weeks so no time soon! I would LOVE to breed her later on though just have to find a good male:)

Could be just a really dark normal, but it looks alot like a black pastel to me, also:)

Definitely not a black pastel, but she's certainly very unique! A great price for her too, she definitely has some potential for dinkering! Congrats :gj:

Thanks guys, like i said i wasn't sure i just know she looked awesome lol yea sadly i got her at a pet store but she was a gift so i'm not complaining. She seems to be fine thus far. Thanks for the answers

You won't be guaranteed morphs with a normal/dinker, but you COULD get an actual black pastel or other morph(guaranteed a morph, as in, buy from a breeder who can tell you about the parents ;) ) that compliments dark colors like that. You could have some fun dark babies if she passes that down! :)

Looks like either a dark normal or, based on the speckling around the markings on the side, a granite. Granites are a little-known morph in bps that basically look EXACTLY like normals to the untrained eyes.. I hadn't even heard of them until I saw hatchlings at an expo and bought one for my friend (the price difference was almost nonexistent, too; $25 for normals and $35 for granites). Some photos for your reference:

I was thinking it looked like a Granite! It may be just a normal but the speckling is different!

Its a Granite. It may be genetic but then again it may not. Most granites don't prove genetic but its always fun trying to prove something out. I would breed it to a normal or colour mutation to try and keep the speckling if it passes it on. :gj:

Yeah. I've seen slightly speckled normals and somewhat blank granites, so it's really hard to say.

It would be easier if the OP posted a pic of her side fully stretched out instead of curled up.

sorry guys I went out of town for a few days she just ate so I'm not going to bother her but I will post a picture of her stretched out as soon as possible. The lady at the store I got her from is a breeder and she said she looks like she might be a yellow belly? Idk But I will take better pictures soon!

I seriously doubt it's a yellowbelly but belly pictures would help.

Photo sessions shouldn't be dictated by feedings

I'm so glad my boyfriend picked her sister instead of her because her markings are just amazing morph or not lol

If the lady at the store was a breeder she should know what the animal is there isnt really a "probable this or that" from the pics I see a pretty really dark normal. I have always loved how variable normals can be in pattern and colors.
