Eggs, Eggs, Eggs!

Just had my third clutch of the season. I love the anticipation at this time of the year. Here's a pic of mom when I found her yesterday, and a baby pic of her from 2008. I bred her to a mojave.

I'll post pics.......in 60 days. Sigh.

The mojave dad has sired some nicely blushed babies in the past, so I'm hoping she enhances that. We'll see.

Hahaha! I saw Heather's thread on EBP, and I love it! Now I know what to look for, and my eyes are peeled. I can't wait until next season when the female black pastel and male calico I got from you will be ready to go.

They've hatched!

Out of four eggs, I got 2 mojaves. One of them is pretty cool. He only has one small break in his stripe. Now I have to figure out what to do with him.

I was kind of hoping for something more dramatic, with a brown head and granite pattern like mom. Still, I'm considering keeping the stripey one and breeding him, maybe back to mom. On the other hand, I can't keep holding back so much. What would you do?

Sell him, Maki....

If it were a female, I would keep it, but since he is a male, sell him and try again next year.

Yeah, I think I'll try the mom with a different morph next time and see what I get. I don't think I'll hang onto the mojave dad either since I don't need more mojaves, though I think he may the one causing the striping.

He's very cool! I would keep him, even if just to have a cool mojo in my collection. My husband says I would keep everything though :rolleyes:, and he's right! :rofl:
