We are sooo excited to share our first eggs of the season! She is a normal who was bred to a spider, pastel het ghost and enchi so we'll see what pops out! She gave us 5 healthy eggs. I didn't expect eggs until Saturday the earliest so this was a fun surprise this morning!! Thanks for looking! I just had to share!

If you keep the press n seal on it your causing too much humidity thus youll get condensation when can cause the eggs to sweat, get wet and mold.
Just get the vermiculite soaking wet and put the tub lid on it. Thats all you need to do
Excellent advise Rich, I had that issue last season, no more press n seal for me...
I just soak the substrate under the light diffuser and place 4 tiny holes on the tubs sides for ventilation and my tubs hold 90% humidity and no mold issues.
Congrats on the first eggies!

you would use it when you have the eggs sitting IN the vermiculite where your doing a 1 to 1 Ratio of water to vermiculite.

Congrats on your 1st clutch, the only thing more exciting is seeing their little heads poking out looking at you in 2 months.. :gj:

Lol Rich it seems like a lot longer than that... That is one thing this hobby has taught me is patience... Lol at least the OP has eggs I'm still waiting on my 1st clutch... Lol I think all my females got together and decided to wait as long as possible and than all have there pre lay shed within 5 days of each other.. I'll go from nothing to a full incubator in a week probably....
P.S. I think we all hate the waiting part..

I really really think the cold long winter pushed everything back! Seems everyone is late this year! And I don't know how I am going to wait either! The thought of it being mid summer by the time I see babies is unfathomable! lol! Good luck!
