    weird shine to my ball python
    just wondering if this is normal, he gets a weird shine for about 3 weeks or so after his shead it almost looks like velvit or like a silk, now im sure ther is nothing wrong he is totally normal and eating fine just wanna know if any one else is has seen this?

    Yeah one of my normals has a very bluish green tint on him. And doesn't take much light to show. Makes them so much more beautiful.

    Mr. Stubbs has the same color on his head, its almost a royal blue shine :cool:

    Yeah, mine are iridescent after shedding, at least for a week or two. If your humidity is reasonably high, they can feel almost silky.
