Whate are some of your talents?

Hey everybody :)

Im curious: what talents do you have?

I personally, have memorized an 11 minute song with lyrics like "250 Thousand cycles per second for dolphin hearing, the electrical optical coupling gears effective"

and "Systematic Geographic Systemic Neo-synopsis" *

*these lyrics mean nothing alone, but in the song they make sense.. just had to say that*

and theres much more. Lets just say this song is INSANE, has tongue twisters and everything.. its nuts. Did I mention its also 11 minutes long! :O (lol)

so yeah, I consider that my talent. Oh and im very talented with animals :) they all love me lol


So what are some things you guys are talented at?

I type extremely fast...and only use two fingers lol. I can also read people very easily. All it usually takes is one conversation and I can tell what kind of person you are. Three years on a police dept did that to me though, not natural talent lol.

Animals kind of seem to find me....I'm like an animal magnet :rofl:
Anyways, other than that, I am a very talented athlete (I can play any sport....but my love is soccer). Honestly, anything I try, I excel at (my bf hates me for that. haha). But for now, I am a talented orchid grower :D I looove to cook and am quite good at it. I also bake and create fancy cakes

everyone that knows me would say that my best talent is that i'm good with animals.
i never really thought of that as a talent cuz it's just me being the loving, nurturing person that i am.

I was writing short stories (fantasy alternative reality) when i was still in Poland (in Polish of course dont expect that in English :rofl:) and even get some awards on fantasy web pages but that's long gone (I'm to lazy :rofl::rofl::rofl:).

I'm good cook (work as one in different restaurant before)...

And people say I have good eye for photography ( check my Flickr ) besides that hell I don know..

i can juggle while walking on stilts. i can balance pretty much anything on my chin. (im great at kids parties :D) i minored in art so im a pretty decent "drawer" ;) ive published some stories. not books just in kids magazines. oh, i used to work in day care and have 30 nieces and nephews in case you were wondering... i also do voice overs so i guess talking can be a talent right? im a pretty damn good brewer too! :)

Hehe, I have a good musical ear! I started playing clarinet in 5th grade then when I got to highschool I switched over to Tenor Sax. along with learning how to play snare drum, and xylophone (sort of). I'm not GREAT at anything but i'd like to say i'm good at playing my clarinet and sax. Oh and I can draw pretty well...

Wow, those are some great talents. And really-all the lyrics of an 11 minuet song is pure awesomness. I grow species orchids, I paint, and I play an odd collection of instruments including but not limited to the Theremin and Jews harp (I have a degree in music):)

I can play bass guitar, guitar, piano, and I'm not too bad at singing. I'm also a music nerd. By this I mean I can hear a song and before the chorus even plays can figure out what is going to happen roughly 75+% of the time and I can 75%+ of the time call out what chords the "musician" is using/playing.

The Theremin is an amazing instrument. I got to play it when I recorded a band. They had it and I had to play around with it.

Oh and if this page is still getting posts, whenever I move I'll have to show you all my music room. I have 2 amps 2 basses, 1 acoustic guitar, a piano, an electric piano, mixing board, 2 speakers, tons of cables, recording equipment, and microphones.

i am awsome at eating more pizza than one man should ever do in a single sitting.

I use to teach lectures about the theremin to non-music majors. One hundred to three hundred people a class and none had ever herd of it and half didn't believe I was telling the truth. Nothing like waving your arms in the air in front of a crowd and looking crazy!

I juggle and do magic! Working on 5 ball! Also learning to ride a unicycle.

I've been called "the snake whisperer" at the local reptile store because I've managed to handle their baby af rock twice with no bites, among other reptiles lol. I just tend to connect well with animals, it kind of freaks my friends out when I go over and can walk their dog better than them and stuff like that :P

Aside from animal stuff, I've been told that I can pick up the basics of a new instrument uncannily quickly and that I have a good musical memory, resulting in my ability to sing (actually won the title of best singer in my school this year :$), play bass (upright and regular), sax (tenor and alto), trumpet, drums, recorder, a little guitar and a little piano.

And I'm also a boss at guitar hero/rock band. :P

I can juggle as well! :D :D I juggle mostly balls, (harrharr) but I've been working on juggling clubs for a year. During the winter I couldn't practice, but at the end of the summer I could manage 7-12 tosses with three clubs! I'm almost there. ;]

I was a Magician's assistant for four years, and did magic myself, but decided to stop because I can't stand dealing with magicians! lol I've only met one that I honestly could get along with for longer than a few minutes, and he didn't call himself a magician. Unfortunately he wasn't the one I was an assistant to most of the time, haha.

I can't play any instruments, but I can rock a kazoo. Especially when there are clown noses involved. I'm basically an aspiring clown. ;P I'd say my best talent is my dorkiness level, which I believe may have broken my dork-a-mometer.

I've always been told I'm an "amazing" writer, and it has always come very naturally to me. So many of my friends and family keep bugging me to write a novel, but I never feel like I come up with original enough ideas. When it comes to lines from movies and song lyrics, as well as random facts about movie and music related things, I have a great memory... but then I'll forget important things like my car keys :rolleyes: I've also been drawing ever since I could hold a crayon, and I guess I'm a pretty decent artist. Just recently I've gotten into feather painting :)

I am mostly talentless really. I'm good at my job and maybe this writing thing. No artistic abilities nor musical abilities. My marriage is lasting, so maybe I'm good at that too ;)

I think I'm a great mother - but, I can't really tell if I'm just being delusional until the kids grow up to be like... Mark Zuckenberg, or Pope Benedict, or something...

I'd have to say that music has always been my main talent... I started on violin at age 7, and went on to minor in music during college. I now play a total of 8 instruments, and perform with a local orchestra on viola.

Aside from that, I've always had a knack for writing - not creative writing so much, but I can construct an essay/article/etc. on any topic you give me. I'm also incredibly uptight about grammar & spelling, even online and when writing texts. No "Wat U doin?" ever comes from my cell phone, LOL. :P

I can meow...like a cat. I used to do that in class in high school. Had one of my English teacher looking out of the window for a kitten. Fun times. I eventually told her it was me. Thankfully she laughed, rather than kick me out of class.

I whistle pretty well. Started early. 7 months.

I play piano, guitar, recorder, clarinet, alto sax, and oboe. I like to pretend that I am decent at flute. I can hear a song once or twice and then play it back. In middle school they called me a parrot. Not sure if that was a compliment or an insult. I also sing. Basically I like to make noise. Sound. It is wonderful.

Sometimes I can draw. It comes in waves. Unpredictable. I'll go years without drawing anything and then randomly start sketching everything.

Supposedly I am skilled at the art of the narrative story. I've been hearing that since Kindergarten. I am not very fond of my writing. Having a...wild imagination helps.

I write songs. Lyrics. None of which are very good in my opinion. Other people seem to like them, though. And the poems. Meh. To each his/her own.

I am good with animals in the sense that they like me. But they walk all over me because I am a pansy. At the same time...I get away with a lot of irritating stuff. I have since I was a kid. Animals are just really tolerant of me, I guess. Annoying noises and grabbing them at random when they are clearly interested in something else. I have seen other people get bitten for less. At least the whole tail yanking phase was very short lived... I am the person that can hold the cat that "doesn't like people" and have it purring. But then I have to pet it forever or it gets grumpy. I get surrounded by dogs and jumped on and licked (this includes "mean" dogs). Climbed all over and sniffed by ferrets. Snakes sleep on my head. Good stuff.

i draw, play piana, learning to play guitar, paint (mostly watercolor painting), cook, photography, building and crafting :), herping and gardening but mostly drawing and painting :D i have pictures of some of my work :) oh and also i have great hand eye coordination thanks to lots of video games and dodging snakes lmao

I have always been good at sports, I have been all conference in football, basketball and baseball and a state champion sprinter. I can pick up on peoples body language easily and I once ate a 5lbs burrito lol

I (Becky) of scottnbecky lol love to draw. I don't do it like I used to and really need to start again. The art thing runs in the family. My dad n sister draw and can both paint like Bob Ross. I have never tried painting in fear that I'll suck lol but I think I should at least try. I like anything artsy or crafts. I like making stuff lol.Hmmm I play soccer but that's more of a hobby. I play guitar and also alto and tenor saxophone. I like flowers. Love to grow orchids. That's a gift in it's own. They take some care. Then the whole animal thing.

I do have a green thumb, if that counts

I type like a beast, and I write code.
Put me on a road course (more complex than an oval), in a well handling car; I'll log some fast lap times.
I'm also pretty dangerous with 3D visual effects, and general CG.

i have a natural ability for finding the route of a problem dont know if thats a talent, im really good at pissing off my sister :rofl:

I build things with wood, I don't say woodworking because I think a woodworker is a true artisan and I don't feel I have the skill necessary to deserve that title. Nonetheless I love the sense of accomplishment I feel when I build something that is useful to someone or makes someone else happy. Right now I'm building racks and enclosures a lot and I really enjoy that. (I also sell and trade them for reptiles;) just sayin) lol. Anyway I guess that's my talent.

i'm a person who's good for almost everything, but really not exceptional at anything... thats me =S.
