Re: First clutch yielded???
Cool surprise! Congrats and hope she proves out for you in a few years! :gj:
Re: First clutch yielded???
In the text you said the 2 dads were a spotnose and a cinnamon. Then in the pictures of the 2 dads you have a spotnose and what appears to me to be a pastel (not a cinnamon).
I guess I'm confused a bit.

If you read a bit more in depth, it is mentioned that the Pastel occurred due to retained sperm from last years breedings.

Yeah I think I am going to hold back the female normals also and see what happens with them in the future. It would be killer to find out that more than just one egg came from that POG male.
I finally sexed the normals also. 1.2 normals. I killed the odds with females in this clutch 2.4.
Re: First clutch yielded???
Nice clutch :gj:.Thats definitly weird she would retain sperm and produced just one baby from it

Well as far as we know only one morph came from retained sperm. The normals could be het ghost, but I won't know until I breed the females. I'm planning to keep the 2 normal females and the pastel female from this clutch and hopefully, eventually prove their genetics.

Yeah the spotnose gene is definitely one of my favorites. I'm hoping to make power balls later this year, and hopefully some double gene mutations with them as well this fall.
