Update on first clutch!!!
I candled our first clutch again last night (day 35) and was amazed at what we saw!!! If the embryos were positioned just right...You could see their pattern! I'll post a few updated shots below! Enjoy!

I mixed it fairly wet...If you squeezed it in your hand a little bit of water would drip out of it. Then I used press-n-seal to cover the tub. Maybe it needs more water added?
I was wondering if they should be dimpling yet. When do you typically start seeing this?
Thanks for your comment.
Re: Update on first clutch!!!
Mine normally start dimpling between day 45-50.
Re: Update on first clutch!!!
Agreed, my first thought is this is entirely too much dimpling for Day 35. Might wanna add some water to be safe since you are using substrateless anyways.

Thanks for your input. I'll add some water tonight when I get home. They must have dried out a little since I put them in the incubator.
Re: Update on first clutch!!!
I checked my substrate tonight and it's still very wet. I know it's not normally supposed to drip (which it barely does), but since I used substrateless incubation...I figured I would favor the more wet side to avoid the eggs drying out. I know some people that just use water as a substrate, so being too wet shouldn't be the issue?
Is it possible that they are just dimpling naturally? The shell is also becoming more pliable...From what I've read, this seems normal as well?
This is my first clutch ever, so I am very open to any tips or suggestions.
Thanks,

No such thing as TOO wet when using his method since eggs arent touching. The joys of using substrateless
I soak mine to the point of puddles in the vermiculite and never have to add water whole 60days.

So what's your take on my eggs at this point?

You should be fine. Put them back in the incubator and leave them alone.
I found these eggs within ours of being laid, but they somewhat dimpled in the first week and never reinflated. Now they are just beginning to further dimple. My tub has a ton of condensation in it, so I have no idea why they are doing this already.
Re: Update on first clutch!!!
My substrate is SOAKED right now and the tub is filling with condensation. I understand that eggs will dimple when dehydrated, but I don't know how that would be possible at this point? I'll keep an eye on them and just hope they go full term. Everything seems spot on.

By using the lid only you allow small air flow in the tubs which stops the moisture build up.
Okay, I'll go back to the normal lids, but what would be causing the dimpling? If I have condensation...I have plenty of humidity...correct? I'm just confused.
Re: Update on first clutch!!!
Press-n-seal removed and lid put back on. Fingers are crossed! Thanks for the advice!
Re: Update on first clutch!!!
Eggs look the same today. I'm guessing this is just how they are going to look?
