Thanks... After posting i did a little research and it seems they are FedEx-certified. I havent used them but im thinkin about it..

Robyn and crew are excellent to work with,it's a good idea to be fully versed in live animal shipments BEFORE you ship to avoid any disappointments.

The crew over there are fantastic people. I've never used them, but I know they work hard and are 100% honest, good people.

While I am certified and have my own fedex account I have used them in the past and will keep using them as they have always provided an excellent service and great savings.

so basically if you use this company your shipping under their fedex account???

We've used them several times this year and everything from scheduling to delivery has gone as smooth as butter. :gj:

I use them for my shipments and they are great!

I have also used SYR in the past and have had zero problems. I am also FedEx Certified to ship live reptiles but they offer a ship to residence instead of business address which is very nice. If you don't have your own account and want to ship SYR is a great way to go.

Just sent out my first package with them. It went very smoothly. I'll use them again.

I shipped once last year with them was a great experince and they also carry supplies so it even betterto get what you need right from them so all set then. I will use them this year once if I sell the 3 100% het albinos I got now ( they not ready yet)

I used them this week with absolutely no problems. It was also my first BP shipment ever, so I'm sure many of you know how nerve-wracking that can be! SYR was easy to use, and I like that you can print out your label ahead of time and use it when needed, so you aren't as rushed on shipping day to get everything in order. :gj:

And now offering Live Arrival Insurance, that is a first in the industry, and we are stoked about it!

So how does shipping with them work? Do they pick up the animal? or pack it? I haven't shipped anything yet but I expect to in the future. Walk us through the process.

I am Fedex certified as well, but use them and love them. They seem to save me money and are great to work with. You have to pack and ship your own snake, but you can get your supplies and your shipping label through them. I really apprecited the little note saying "we are a certified fed ex shipper. Check your own regs before freeking out" Ok that is not exactly what it says but close.

Me too! I thought that if I ever decided to breed my boa, I'd have a problem with shipping and would have to "learn" how to pack, lol! SYR makes is easy to learn and helps my confidence for the future. :gj:

Does SYR operate in Canada? Or is it just an American thing? I can imagine a business based on shipping live animals could get annoying managing it in 2 different countries with different regulations :P

SYR is only U.S. domestic for now. We have had some preliminary discussions with FedEx about doing Canadian exports, so it is a future possibility, but it does open a new can of worms : )
