Hi, I'm pianoflute2! Or AnnaMarie. Whichever is easiest for you to remember, I'll respond to both. I'm pianoflute2 because I play the piano and flute too!! (Wow that sounds silly) I love snakes! I used to be afraid of them though... Always hearing horror stories about rattles.... Well let's see.... What else would you like to know about me...? I'm kinda boring.... Oh! I have purple hair! I love roller coasters and I have a season pass to the local amusement park. And um.... If you want to know more about me ask questions, I guess. I'll answer pretty much anything. :)

It's a Ball Python, almost a year old, the friendliest snake I've ever met!! Right when I picked him/her up she/he started sniffing my face!! It was so cute!! :)

I am waiting for my weekly allowance, my mother's full approval, and, probably but hopefully not, my birthday.

Sounds smart.... Until you pick it up do as much research as you can. Hopefully that will help your mother give you her approval.

That's what I have been doing!! She seems ok with it now, especially since I'm going to start breeding mice which she wants because she's switching our cats to a frozen raw diet.

I used to be afraid of snakes (and lizards, lol :oops:). It's surprising how far you can turn yourself around about it given the right circumstances. I have 2 snakes and 11 lizards now and love every minute of messing with them-and yes, been bitten 3 times by a snake so I'm past that phobia too..hehe...grats again :gj:

:D Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!!! Turns out I'm getting my first ever snake within a week! (Depending on how quickly we get his new home set up) He's a male Ball Python!! (The same one as in the pic) As soon as I get him home I will post pics!!!! :D :D :D

hello! im new to this site as well, i got my pops approval instantly cus he likes snakes but my ma was harder to convince i just promised id pay for everything and be the one and only caretaker for it. i told her she didnt have to worry a bit. also, if they are worried about it escaping (mine were) i got these locking lids clasps for 2.59 at my local pet store i think theyre bout same at petco. And welcome BTW :) these people on this sight are very nice and friendly and helpfull. I got a ball python as well 3 days ago. his names 8 ball :D good luck!
