new camera so a new pic

we got a new camera last week and the wife snapped this great picture of our beloved pit bull Ruby. she's 15 and although she was diagnosed with cancer and had a large tumour removed from her mammary gland she is doing great. the doctor said the cancer would return in 6 months at the most and knock on wood that was seven months ago and she’s still fine and most days running around the house like a puppy.http://www.reptilescanada.com/forums...pictureid=2047:banana:

I lost my big girl on turkeyday of 2009 due to cancer..............I wish you luck and spend every minute that you can loving on her because you never know when her time might come. I am not religious at all but I do hope my Marley Baby is waiting on me to make my last ride:tears:

I lost mine to cancer a couple years ago and it still makes me cry to look back on him. But they are great memories. We'd love to see your pictures.

I agree but remember you are on borrowed time with her age already. Remind her every day that she is the glimmer in your eye. My girl was going on 5yrs old.
And fair warning, it is going to hurt like hell just make sure you have no regrets with her................ I still have the last dog treat that I forgot to give her at the vets office when I took her to put her down.

i've had her since she was 10 weeks. beleive it or not she used to be red. she is red cordova. the mother is from here and was bred to a stud in texas. she was from a litter of 12. 2 girls 10 boys and she was 15 lbs. she was born on oct 31 1995. and she is and always has been a real sweet gentle soul, great with kids she even nursed a kitten when she was about 3.
