When she gets BIG. she is already gigantic for her age.. I really cant wait to see how she grows and how big she gets!
Lrrr (Savannah Monitor) -
Playing with him outside during the summer! I love to have him out and being able to spend time with him outside is gonna be awesome!
Shaka "The Psychopath" Zulu (Macklot's Python) -
6 - 8 feet of pure viciousness. I look forward to working with him to tame him down. he is a great snake and I cant wait for the day (hopefully..) when I can just reach into his tank and pick him up
Lily (Leopard Gecko) -
I look forward to just getting to enjoy the next 10+ years with her, she is a sweetheart and just the coolest little creature ever :)

Im looking forward to my BP getting bigger he has grown so much already and as I love him little (250 grams) cant wait till he is full grown!

I love watching my BPs grow. I can't wait until my 2010s start getting as big as my normal female. What I'm really looking forward is breeding them, I think about it way too much as well what other morphs I want to add my collection at NARBC in October. :P Looking forward to my snappy BPs to calm down too. Will be nice to hold them with out getting bit.
I also have a boa arriving Wednesday, and I can't wait to watch her grow.

Lrrr!
I love it!!!! My bp is Zapp.
I look forward to him being a big ol' lump of snake that will (hopefully) give me babies with his great temperament. I look forward to seeing them all thrive.

Re: What do you look forward to with your animal(s)?
I am looking forward to seeing how big my male normal gets and also looking forward to when he will start eating again. He has gone without food for 36 days now.

Male normal ball, Maynard
I'm looking forward to being with him for as long as possible. He's the best, never turns down food, never balls up, he isn't even head shy!
Female yellow belly ball, Eleven
I want to see her grow older and bigger, and I want to eventually see her gravid with a clutch from either Maynard or another ball python that I get down the road.
Female Nicaraguan boa, Judith
First and foremost I want to see her get big! And I also want to see her chill out a bit lol. When she's out in your hand she's awesome, but as soon as you put her down or back in the enclosure she S coils super tight and starts slowly going up to you like "I'm gonna eat you if you try that again!"
Unsexed X. Immanis, Astraea
I want him/her to get big so that I don't have to use a deli cup as an enclosure anymore, because whenever I open the lid to feed or change water he/she panics and I'm afraid one day he/she'll run right out of the cup. I also want to see the adult colors and a molt to be able to sex and change the name if needed.
Unsexed G. Rosea, Freya
I'm looking forward to doing a good handling session with him/her because last time I went to change the water I got a bit of a threat posture while putting the escape rock back in at the end, but he/she showed a fair tolerance for me messing with the cage and my hand being right beside her/him. Also looking for a molt to be able to sex and change the name if needed.

I am looking forward to spending a good long time with my normal bp, Ella. She is an amazing creature and I couldn't have asked for better as a first snake. She has a great curious personality and isn't overly shy and likes to be handled. BUT she does offer some challenges - she went on a hunger strike over the winter which was a shock to me because she'd always been a total PIG in the past and never ever turned down food. Until November 1st that is... And she's taught me a great deal about husbandry. Very forgiving of mistakes, but insistent that I get it right before too long. She speaks her own language.
And I'm looking forward to my next snake and many more to come! ;)

"Bad Dog" the Burm
I honestly can't wait for him to stop wanting to eat my boyfriend! ;] I handle him most often because he's a snarky snake (hehe) and he's finally calmed down for me bite-wise, but daaaang he still cannot handle my boyfriend being near! It's become a running joke that he's jealous of the other man in my life, but I can't wait for him to get a little older, bigger and more secure. <3 He's only 3.5 feet right now and little spitfire. Tagged both of us at different points, but I love him.
All the ball pythons
....I can't wait for them to eat rats @$#%!! -_- we had half on rats, and now only one will eat for us. A couple weeks of mouse-tricking is in our future.
Wolfdog
I love that poofball and I can't wait to see how HUGE he gets! This dog is already hip-height with his head and he's six months old. ;] His momma's shoulder actually reached your hip, so I'm psyched to see him get the size of a furry pony, lol! <3 He's the sweetest and most well-behaved pup I've ever been around....because he's been trained so much and socialized so well! haha He still thinks he's the size of his head, and it's adorable.

I live with my boyfriend and his family and his father does. :] He's silver siberian and 'giant' malamute, lol. <3 He's very high-percent wolf, but acts more like a poofy moose. hehe
They're very, very, veeeerrrryyyy difficult animals. They aren't dogs, essentially. You have to do extreme training very young, and it is intense, but in the end totally worth the time and difficulty because they are amazing animals. <3 They are very high-needs and basically are a full time job. I will probably never have one personally, but I'm so happy I get to enjoy the one I live with.

I feel your pain.. I almost get mauled every time I have to deal with my Macklots. but him, like your burm will calm down (or maybe not.. Shaka Zulu is mental...) HOPEFULLY lol
Keep em coming! I love seeing what people enjoy about their reptiles!

I look forward to feeding!! :partyon:
I adore watching Axel eat. I watch him so intensely (from a distance, of course) That I almost feel like I'M eating!
I also look forward to him growing up and out. I'm so jealous of people with fat snakes...<3<3 haha
I look forward to someday in the future when I can purchase a female and breed!
-
As for my BPs, I can't wait to see my female's potential size as an adult. For my male, I can't wait to see him fully recovered from four years of neglect. On the non-reptile side, I'm always excited when my miniature donkeys get close to labor. :P One had her foal almost two weeks ago, the other should be due in the next week or two. Since their gestation period is 11-14 months, they take the most patience and reap the greatest reward. :)

Re: What do you look forward to with your animal(s)?
Like everyone else with their boas, now that I have one I can't wait to see how big he gets, and I'm also really looking forward to the bright coloration and iridescence. He's really tiny right now so he doesn't really have much.
With all of my other snakes, I'm just looking forward to spending a good many years with them. My bp and my creamsicle okeetee corn were my first 2 snakes, so they're really close to my heart.
And then with my crestie, I also can't wait for her to get bigger and calm down enough so I can just walk around the house with her and not worry about her leaping into space. She's already gotten a lot better, but still gets that look sometimes like she wants to fly, and with cats around I wouldn't want to risk it. She's still really cute right now though, and I definitely don't want to wish any months or years away :)

I look forward to when eggs are laid and babies are born, especialy with my retics.
I look forward to the day when my bigest female retic dosen't strike at me everytime
I open the cage because of her insane feeding response, which will probably never come.:colbert:
I look forward to seeing my sulcata ouside roaming my backyard in the summer.
