Meanest morphs?
Curious about what other ones there are. My YB is my most evil snake... very aggressive feeder and aggressive towards me as well. Hates humanity. One mistake with him can cost me a finger or hand. I think he's just bitter about being a morph that looks like a nice normal...
And no, he is not afraid of me and trying to defend himself. He hates me with a passion and wants to bite my face off just for the satisfaction. Seriously.

He looks like a piggy in this. Or am I crazy? At least he eats like one.

LOL.... I have a spider mojave that is that way....
-
HAHAHA he really does want to bite you sooo bad. Love that face though! I don't think it's any specific morph that is aggressive as much as the snake itself. They all have different personalities in every morph. Luckily all of my bps are very sweet, one is a little paranoid but he's harmless. My boa on the other hand, would eat me if he wasn't 3 feet long :D

You made me laugh. He does indeed look to be contemplating how long you would take to digest. Sleep with one eye open!:O

Yeah, I totally agree it's the snake not the morph. I have one spotnose that is a little nervous with being held but relaxes pretty quick, and then I have Clyde. I can't even look at him without him snapping at me. I got tagged this morning when I was checking on him. The little sneak was actually under his hide not the paper like he normally is so he got me when I went to go lift the paper. :P

Goodness. Sounds like a planned assault!

Re: Meanest morphs?
I have a yellow belly and a pastel that think i taste good. They are both females. Wander if that makes a difference?? Lol.

My female cinnamon is hell on scales.
Regards,
B

Wow what a look!!
I'd be scared of him too. He looks like he's thinking" Just put that black thing that flashes down and we'll see how brave you really are."
So far I don't have any like that, knock on wood. The only snapper I ever had, he was a fear striker and not an aggressive striker.

I'm laughing too-that pic is awesome! Hahaha...makes me think it's the snake equivalent of a little mean pint size dog-they think they are beasts...hahahaha:rofl:

Snake Psychology: As hatchlings, BPs see us as friends now, lunch later. They are unaware that they only grow 3 feet long. Once they figure it out, we are nothing but warm things to them. Not companions or masters or anything. Just a warm object that appears occasionally for reasons unknown and provides much appreciated heat, making it tolerable, but not desired.
Dogs look up to humans, cats look down. Snakes tolerate us at best. So lovable!! :snake:

I honestly have never heard that before...
Having as many animals I have, it really just depends on the animals themselves. No specific morph is more aggressive than another. Just like people...
But I do have a trio of sisters that are double het for Ghost and Albino that are ALL horrible. And they are full grown. I always know to be careful with them...

Re: Meanest morphs?
My Axanthic girl got me just an hour ago! First time she ever showed aggression, and she nabbed my hand and then launched an attack at my face. She missed the second time, phew! I was just letting her hang out on my lap while her cage was being tidied.
-
The meanest morph i've ever seen was half pastel, half motherinlaw....

Yeah, I heard that from BHB. But my two black pastels are total sweethearts. My cinny pewter was a heavy-duty biter for the first 6 months, but she's made a complete turn-around and is another sweetheart.
My axanthic, on the other hand... she's gone from being completely neurotic to biting to pooping on me to simply hissing every time I touch her. At least she's improving?

Re: Meanest morphs?
Pinstripes!
For the most part all are a bit timid or jumpy when bought young if especially if there was little to no handling prior to being sold.
Be patient and your bp will enjoy you as much as you enjoy it:D

Re: Meanest morphs?
I have a female Lesser that will get you everytime if your not carefull, she's beautiful however and a great eater and I still Luv her!:D
-
Our male YB will turn and taste for no reason at all, first time he got me just sitting in my hand and I was not moving at all. He was slithering around and hung under my hand then bit my knuckle from the bottom when I couldnt see his head.:taz::taz:
Our male OG strikes at anything and everything, he has even taken to hissing now:O:O:O
-
My cinny female was like that until she got to 1000g now she's scarily angelic. My pin male is an absolute terror. I get that very same look everytime I have to pick him up. To him even striking at anything infront of him. demon spawn.
-
Hahahahaha! Mother in law!!! We have a normal that's pissy. She'll bite if we give her the chance. hasn't gotten us yet, though.
She's due to lay eggs today or tomorrow, and she's extra pissy now. It's pretty cute and funny. Just gotta be careful.
hahahaha, this is a great thread!

Our mojo is the devil ... His name is hades lmao. We have a few that will get you. Our two het g-stripes and our het pied will tag ya given the chance.

My super mojo is the World's Friendliest Snakes. I have a lot of really sweet, friendly snakes... but Noodle is the only one who is actively attention-seeking. I bring her out in the middle of card games, and she marches straight to the discard pile and starts periscoping around at the players, like: "What's so great about these cards? Look at ME!"
-
My meanest is a cinnamon male and the pin stripe male is pissy also hissing the most. Unfortunately the cinnamon is supposed to be my 10 year old son snake. :( My lesser is the sweetest snake ever, followed closely by Charlotte our spider. The Pastel and the Mojave are pretty indifferent right now.
-
my mojo is the sweetest, while my cinny is the meanest.
