How long can you remove eggs from the incubator before temp swings become an issue ??
How long can you safely remove eggs from the incubator before running into issues. I need to remove a couple tubs to add moisture as the eggs are showing more dimpling but I am concerned about exposing them to the cooler room temperatures for any lentgh of time ....Am I being overly paranoid??

You could have added a third "VERY".....I drove two clutches from NJ to AZ and was only able to plug the incubator in at night when we stopped driving. Also, the incubator stid and fell approx 1 foot during the drive. I wrote all the eggs off but they all hatched without any issues.

Very good to know, as I may end up having to move right as my eggs are coming. Though I think I will try to avoid the dropping 1 ft step of the process, haha. Obviously I will avoid the transport if at all possible but this is definitely valuable info

That had to be fun. I just drove from Seattle to Tampa with about 30 snakes, 2 monitors, 3 sugar gliders, 2 hamsters an african lungfish, a wolf hybrid and a parent all in a Honda Fit. It was definitely an experience.

eggs are very harty I remember when bruce worte off a clutch when his palce caught fire and i think some still hatched.
I drove from NJ to lower De with aclutch but they were all infertile ( didn't have a light to candle before hand) they took no damage on the trip but then again they were infertile so they went bad anyhow. ) I would onl think of if room to do is warm the water up ( or use warm water ) to prevent a sudden tem spike as the incubator works to bring the water up to temp. ( I always keep a pitcher or couple bottles of water in the incubator so if i need to add soem it already warm and won't cause a lower temp over an hour or so it take to bring it up.)
