    Which Enchi?
Hey I am looking to buy a female enchi and these two have become available.

What one would you say is the better example?

YES I THINK YOU SHOULD BUYS THOSE ENCHIS. :D

Oh wait, which. Um. The upper one is arguably more desirable for most enchi projects because she's so bright. But the lower one is exceptionally striking, isn't she?

lol yeah my first thought was for the brighter one but as i keep looking at the darker one I am falling for her too :)

i may end up buying both but still want opinions on which is better

Those are incredible specimens. I like the color of #1 better, and I almost always go color over pattern if I MUST choose.

    HOWEVER..

The pattern on #2 is SO incredible that I may just be convinced to go with it instead.

Get them both, seriously, if you have the money and space and can justify it. I haven't seen an opportunity to pick up female enchis that look like that anytime recently here in the states.

The pattern on #2 is nice but #1 really jumps out to me over the two:gj:

While I Iike the pattern of number 2 better, I would go with 1 for the coloration.

1 also has a great reduced pattern with a very small amount of spots.

    For me - it's no contest - #1.

Truthfully, I had to do a double take, because I thought for a minute that you had "found" my enchi that had been stolen couple years ago. Compared pictures to make sure. It's not - but it was close enough to put a lump in my throat! LOL

Both are just stellar! The first is nice and bright with a great pattern and the second just keeps drawing the eye. Very nice- good luck!

lol she is only a 2010 and sorry for your loss

The first one was my favourite at first but the second seems to look better and better every time i see it... I think i'll end up getting both.
can anyone suggest a good price to offer (UK prices are a little higher than US)

I personally am leaning towards #1 with her brighter color. But as mentioned, #2 has a really nice pattern to her as well. Still, #1 for me.

#1 is overall the better example, but there is something stunning about the pattern on #2. I agree with you. Get both!

I've recently seen 2010 female enchis advertised for sale on kingsnake for $550-700, but they were smaller and not as nice as yours.

I agree, its a tough pick. I would say get both if you can, but if not it depends on which is more important to you, color or pattern. I'm a color person so I would have picked the first.

Though decision but if I had to pick I would go with #1............or maybe #2.......no no wait #1 or just get both if possible.

You want an enchi that looks like everyone else's go for #1
But when you choose for uneekness your more likely to go for #2

If you have to get one I'd say 2 because she's incredibly unique! But definitely get both if you can. :gj:

I got the lighter one guys as i don't really have the space for both at the moment. If the other does not sell soon though I may just snap her up :P

Will get some pics up once she has settled

You got the nicer of the two, IMHO. Second one has a unique pattern, but too dark for my taste in enchi's.
