    I miss Steve Irwin
Looking at all the stupid shows on Animal Planet (and others) makes me think back to when the Crocodile Hunter was on and how excited I was to watch each episode when I was younger.
    RIP Steve.
    that is all

Yeah I miss him too, he was so passionate, and always made a bad day turn out good.

But this is the way he continues to live, us missing him, and thinking about him.

me and my daughter, then 2 yrs old, used to watch that good 'ol steve-o.
my daughter didnt understand much of what steve was trying to accomplish with all of his antics but she sure did enjoy hearing him say "crikey!" and really loved watching him run around gettin' chased by his crocs.
she was too young to understand the circumstances of his death but by then she was getting into other shows anyways so fortunately i dodged the "what happened to steve irwin's shows" bullet.
then little bindi got a show and for awhile it was bindi this bindi that.
then hannah montana came around...and it was all over from there, lol.

You know, this is so true. Animal planet's new slogan is, "Surprisingly Human" but all they've done is become a corruption of TLC meets A&E with their stupid reality shows. That one show, Pit Boss, is ridiculous. I know some people on here might like that show, so I hope I don't offend, but it's obvious AP channel is just cashing in on the Little People television phenomenon. And that ghost show? A GHOST show on Animal Planet?! Clearly they are just trying to fill the void that Steve Irwin's death created. But I wish they did it more with shows like river monsters, or at least educational based programming, not reality based programming.
