    Bite
Hello. My name is Calen, and I want to introduce myself on behalf of finally becoming a member of the Newbie Bite Club.

It was by my MASSIVE 200gram Spider Male. It was lethal... let me tell ya. 2 little blood pricks from front 2 teeth.

I still have my finger attached, thank god.

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!!! Cheers to cute little baby snake bites!!

    Cheers,

    Calen

lol. Thanks for all the funny comments guys.

I think I am finally done "flinching" and pulling back every time I get struck at. Think I'll just wear em' from now on since I now know THEY DONT HURT AT ALL!!!

Just an update.. I am healing up well from the emotional scarring, and the wound is closing up nicely. HAHAHAHA

    Wow, you really are fortunate!

I've heard those 200 gram monsters can remove your whole hand if you aren't careful! :O

Will you be investing in some shark bite gear for future accidents ? I've heard that it works just a well for these deadly balls.

haha. yes an insanely huge hatchling children's python tagged me at the Atlanta repticon a few months ago and I had to be airlifted to Grady memorial hospital. it was very traumatic.

but seriously welcome to the club and cheers to many more bites in the future from all our deadly pythons.

At least now you know that it doesn't hurt. Now just try to remember not to jerk back so hard because the poor little guys can loose teeth that way. They do grow back though.

A bite from a new snake or hatchling is usually just fear. Unless you make SFE (stupid feeding error) lol.

Use feeding tongs to avoid getting nipped from a feeding response and always pick up the BP from behind. Or cover it's head with something to distract it.

Damm your lucky I wish I could join the club!!! but for some reason even after all the snakes I have had in my life(about 13) none of the bastards have even attempted to bite me. I know it happens to everyone eventually I just hope I get tagged by my 400g male baby ball and not my 2000g female lol cuz that one might hurt a bit!!

I have yet to be bitten yet. I am still fairly new to balls tho. I got bit by a small corn snake once but it was nothing at all. it just startled me. I sort of want by ball to bite me just so i know what to expect
