They are indeed a rear fanged snake. There delivery system is very poor, they have to walk there fangs onto their prey and actually chew to cause envenomation. Most bites will just cause pain from the bite itself and minor irritation. Some people have received localized swelling from the bite. They are an awesome species of snake, and would have to say she is one of the neatest snakes I have ever owned.

Wes does produce some amazing snakes, I am so glad I got the opportunity to purchase one from him and he is so pleasant do deal with as well. She is an amazing snake I'm still in ahh every time I look at her. She is also a very sweet snake, every time I open her cage she tries to come out and she always watches me when I am cleaning her water bowl, cage, or messing with any of my other snakes.

Wes does produce some beautiful snakes. I have one of his super hypo beauties and she is a complete doll.

I think there is an inverse law at work here when it comes to both the beauty and temperament of the snake in relationship to that of the person who bred it.

Very nice looking snake indeed. I could never own a hot. One reason is because of the family, the other is because I don't know anything about them.
