What do you think of this Albino?
They are selling him for $650, hatchling.. Wow. Expensive.

I think it's a nice Albino, he has some nice blushing and colours.... But for a male that seems a little tad expensive for him.

I would agree. $650 is a bit much.

There is only one petshop in our City that sells BP's occasionally. So, tends to Overprice a lot :-(
I am hoping to start a small farm soon and maybe get this industry moving the right way.
Oh and the 650? That doesn't even include papers :-(
So sad really.. I would happily pay 300 for this baby.
Oh well, hope he finds a good home.

He's very nice but overpriced get in contact with some breeders you can get some bp's shipped to you..
Edit after looking at where you are an albino might be in that price range after international shipping and all the paper work involved.
Maybe someone that does international shipping can chime in.
droid!!!!
-
Wow he is very beautiful, but as others stated overpriced.
-
That's an extremely nice-looking reduced-pattern albino. Sometimes big breeders will do that, too, selling really excellent pastels or enchis for twice as much as the usual market price. And it's not overpriced if somebody is willing to pay it.
But if you're not willing to pay it, you can find plenty of much cheaper, perfectly nice-looking albinos very easily.

Exactly Emilio. For where he is that's not a bad price.

Not where he is you won't.

for where you live, i say do it. he is a very nice looking male.
if he is the only shop and you really want it and plan to have an albino in your breeding project then i do not see any problem in spending money on a pretty creature like that.

It would be hard to find an albino for 300 in the states, I doubt you would find a deal that good in the Philippines right now. They'll eventually go down in price :gj:
He looks good though!

Hard.. maybe. But definitely possible. I just picked up a female for about that price.
Other than that, he is GORGEOUS. I love how the yellow fades towards the bottom.

Last year we picked up an adult breeder albino female for $700 right after she laid eggs.
This season she is 3000 grams and has 7 follicles.
It's not hard to get albinos for a good price if you look in the right places AND live in the states.
Being in the Philippians will be much more expensive.
-
Exactly.. well right now it is just our of my reach. Since I have Male spider, maybe a female pastel would be more practical to get.
But for collection, man he is a beauty, so neat and clean.

Re: What do you think of this Albino?
I picked up my Albino male last month (125 grams) for $299. I think I got a great deal and for the month I have had him he has shed perfect and is already on Rat Pups after his third feeding with me, he now weighs about 155 grams.
-
bro i think its really overpriced, fancy meeting you here bro
-
Yeah but arent all
ball pythons overpriced here in the Philippines?
-
Well, if you already have a spider, and can find a decent sized pastel female for a good price, selling bee's will be a good way to fund your albino projects.
The thing to remember about albinos is this: Yes he's beautiful, but without a visual female or at least a het, it doesn't make sense to get him. Because it will take a looong time to make more. :P
Get your pastel, make some pretty bees, and in a few years you'll be able to invest in maybe a visual and het albino pair.

First priority is indeed pastel but all I can find available now is a male pastel :(

Really good looking Albino. In my opinion a good example of the morph.
If it was me I would buy him in a heartbeat. $650 in the Philippines seems like a reasonable price to me. My logic is if you buy him and start a Albino breeding program you are not going to be selling the offspring for American prices, you will be selling them for Philippine prices where Albino BP's are more rare.
Larger initial investment but I personally believe you would have a good opportunity to make the money back plus some.
-
True, I wish it came with a female, it it did I would negotiate for a $1,000 for both and invest in these beauties.

3 years ago a reptile store in my area sold albino BPs for $700 a piece but now that's a bit high. Even if he's a true high contrast and won't lose most of that color with age, it's still a little high in my opinion. The thing is, if it's the only place around where average people will ever get to see an albino then they will most likely get that much for it.
You rarely find the same prices in stores that you do online or from a show/expo.
