new member from peabody massachusetts
Hello everyone i didnt see this category before,I've posted twice allready but im new to this forum since this week.5 days ago i bought a pastel male bp from the new england reptile expo and hes awesome hes allready ate for me very friendly and isnt head shy.But hes definitely not going to be my last :).Hes not my first bp ive owned a couple others but im really getting into them now.I built my own enclosure for him it wasnt to hard but kinda was but more expensive than i thought but i like it its made out of melamine and is 4 feet long 18 1/2 inches tall and 2 feet deep with sliding plexi glass front and i just built a rack for my other soon to be bp's :).I kind of have a couple questions though even though this probably isnt the right place for them but my rack system is only 3 shelves that can fit 3 41 quart tubs and im wondering if i just use heat pads like the sticky kind would that be ok i have one set up now with a dimmer switch that i hooked up to it.I want to get a thermostat and saw the vivarium electronics ve-100 is that one good for what im doing?.I found the rack system at my local home depot on sale for 18 but when i checked out it was only 10 so im definitely going back to buy more lol it says its 4 shelves but really just 3 but for 10 bucks oh well lol.Sorry this post is all over the place talking about all different kinds of things and a very long introduction :)
