Yup, x2 for the contact paper or shelf liner. An added bonus to shelf liner is that it helps insulate a bit to retain heat.

I use the black Con-tact from Home Depot, it's only like $6 for a huge roll.

    Hi,

I used the aquarium/ terrarium backing paper from petstores and then put cork sheeting outside it to help with the temps inside the tank as well.

I tinted mine with 2.5% limo black car window tint. I cut it to size and applied it to the tank, just like you would a window.

i just put all of the contact paper on three sides of the tank... obviously not the side i want to see through... but he seems to really like it... he is not coming out of his hides anymore and racing all around his cage. i honestly think he feels more secure already. thanks everyone

She constantly talks about herself, asks if things are ok, and apologizes for everything.

Totally kidding... but usually a secure animal hides a lot, eats on schedule, shows an even demeanor and sheds properly.

I hear that! My girl BP's are always asking the boys if they look fat. Of course the guys are quick to point out that they just swallowed a full grown rat, so it's just rodent weight that's bloating them a bit :D

I cut down corrugated cardboard to fit the sides and tape them in place. The air pockets in the cardboard are good insulators to help keep the heat in. The heavier material insulates better than contact paper would.
