Anyway, this one threw me for a loop. Based off of shed, I had this girl pegged for March 24th or so to lay. So on March 20th, she went into the blue, and started another shed!?!? She shed on Mar. 26th!?!?!? So I figured I was just wrong, being a newbie and all, and that she would lay towards the end of Apr.

SURPRISE!!!!! :banana: :banana: :banana: :taz: I just can't believe she laid now! Have any of you had girls that shed twice after ovy before they laid?

I really don't get this one, but I'll take it! We have another one due within the next 4-8 days or so...obviously I don't know enough to know when...just keep checking!

Christmas is just going to keep coming! We got clutch #3! I'm at a different computer today, so I can't post pics of clutch #2, but here's a pic of #3...not a good pic, cause she's too snippy!

We have to leave her on the eggs while we set up our larger incubator. I'm tempted to try maternal incubation. Ever since QuietTempest has done her write-ups on it, I'm intrigued to try it...we'll see, though.

Anyway, there are 6-9 eggs. This mom is being extra pissy! She hisses as soon as we enter the room, and she doesn't stop! It's pretty funny, and cool!. :gj:

Maybe later today I'll be able to get a better pic. We'll probably be 4 days or so before we get the bigger incubator regulated and ready. So we'll see if we can get bit in the mean time...

I was wrong, btw, there are 5 eggs. But they look beautiful and healthy!

He had his head stuck in the hole he cut. Literally stuck! I cut him loose. Then the second one pipped, so I cut that egg open, too. BOTH MOJAVES!!!! 4 more eggs to go! I'll post pics later. My camera was cold from being in the truck overnight, and it just kept fogging up. Couldn't get good pics. Maybe I'll post one anyway.

Beautiful babies, congrats again! Don't forget, you want to keep the paper towels in their tub damp until their first shed (not sure if you've wet them or not since the pic was taken). Good luck with them.

So, the last little normal is taking his time coming out. He should be out this afternoon some time.

Anyway, we ended up with 1.3 Mojos!!!!!! and 1.0.1 Normals!

Just to update, not that many care...but it's 1.3 Mojos, and 1.1 Normals! So cool. Our first hatched clutch ever!
