She ready to blow!

This girls was due yesterday and looks like she is ready to blow!!! This will be our first clutch ever and the excitement is killing me! Here is a photo of her I snapped this morning! Does she look close to you guys?

I palpated her several times this season and felt 6 follicles, so we are hoping for 6 good eggs! Hopefully she doesn't make us wait too much longer! :please:

HAHA! Thanks guys/girls! Still nothing this morning and she looks even more swollen and miserable! I also noticed she peed over night. Could this be due to possible contractions? We really hope to see eggs this weekend! :please:

Ahhhh...Still no eggs! :O

I feel your pain. I'm waiting on a few like that. A couple days before laying you'll see her trying to push the eggs around in her belly by folding herself and then shell do a perfect coil with her tail in the middle.

Well...She's one week over due and still no eggs!!! This is driving me insane!

Do you think she is egg-bound? When does that become a possibility?

I'm not too worried yet, just getting impatient! I think another week and I will start freaking out! :please:

No she's not egg bound. She's just not ready. Sometimes They dont follow the same schedule. Shell lay in good time.

Should I be concerned yet? She's close to two weeks overdue and nothing yet. I did catch her laying inverted this morning? Could this be a good sign? I really wish her and I would have read the same books! :colbert:

My girls both laid ~38 days after their post-ovy sheds, so I wouldn't be too worried just yet. Of course, that's easy for me to say now - I was going crazy at the time! :)

We're sitting at 41 days POS as of now. If this wasn't my first clutch, I may be more relaxed about it. I check every morning like a little kid at christmas time and every morning I find that Santa didn't come! :P

What are the temp like.. Had a girl go 70 days pos last year didn't realize her heat panel had gone out double check the temps in her tub..

70 days POS!!! Wow! I would have gone crazy! Were the eggs ok?

I have been keeping a thermometer probe in her enclosure from the time she ovulated and it has been reading between 88-92 my T-stat is a Ranco, so there is a bit of fluctuation.

Same thing happend to me last year. My big girl laid 62 days POS, when I pulled her out she felt cold and when I check i found a connection broke on her stripe in the rack. She laid 12 eggs all with veins, but each slowly went bad except 2 that hatched out fine.

No the eggs were all infertile save for one and that baby hatched out kinked..

That's too bad. My temps seem to be in line, but I will re-check everything when I get home from work. Thanks for the advice.

She decided to lay during the day yesterday!!! I got home from work to find her coiled around 8 PERFECT eggs!!! Pics are below! Thanks for the calming words and advice all! Now just 55-60 more days to wait!

Oh yeah...The 8 eggs weighed 813g!

Thanks guys! These next two months are gonna be a killer waiting for them to hatch! At least I have another clutch to look forward to in about three weeks. That should help keep my mind off of things.
