Never found it so hard...
To leave a snake alone before! God in heaven.
I got my new woma tuesday and ever since I've wanted to get it out. Doing the daily temp checks is such a thrill because she'll peek out at me. She ate a small mouse last night, I think she could take on a medium but I didn't wanna chance her not eating.
Friday I get to do a photo shoot. I've never wanted a friday so badly. I think I might be addicted to aussies....I can haz black headed next?
Sorry to gush I just needed to say these things!

I just gotta keep reading my book. the worst is when I'm off and have time. I think I need to gradually move feeding day.

I really wanna add some blackheads but the only quote I have seen on a pair was 3500!
So I'll need to do some savings unless that was just way overpriced. I wanna add some bredli this summer though. Maybe an irian Jaya

Big fan of the jungle coastal carpets, with the black and yellow. Great looking animals and for the most part cheaper than most morphs of ball pythons that I've seen. I looked at a trio of Solomon Island ground boas a while back but missed my chance to get them before I made up my mind...snooze and lose, lol!
I am developing a carpet addiction I just love centralians. I wanna start on them and IJ's before moving into coastals.
I love boas but there Caging is a mystery and a fear of mine. I'd love a BCC but I have no snake room and most of my house is 70-74 ambi. ((My pythons stay in racks. Someday my woma will utilize RHP's in a display cage.))
BCC's get so big though I don't know if a radient heat panel could heat a big cage like that properly.
So many beautiful snakes in the world. Still check back friday night I can't wait to show my new girl off.

They will come down - I remember when womas were going for about $2500 a pair.

Yeah guess I just need to wait a year or to. Tom Keogan is producing some real beauties though. Saw them on kingsnake last night.

I have a pair of Bredilis. They are pretty cool. I like them better than any other carpet I have owned.
Caging is not difficult for boas. I keep my adults in 4x2x1 PVC cages with 80 watt RHPs. Larger boas would need larger cages and higher wattage RHPS. The RHPs would have no difficulty heating the ambientm temp if yours stays between 70 and 74. I say go for it.
I also want a Black-headed python!!

I wish thinking of setting up a click clack upstairs for a baby BCC ((Cheaper than buying 2' grow up cage.) And it's warmer upstairs closer to 78-80. I'm not sure of a good tub boa set up and how long they'd be comfortable in one.
Thanks for the info. I've been dream of boas for awhile.

Your woma's are adorable! I went to check my new girls temps tonight and she came out of her hide and tracked my hand even tongued the temp gun. I snapped a camera phone picture and she's my new wallpaper.
