Identify - Dull Pastel or Normal?

Can't really tell if this is a normal or pastel. Can you guys/girls help? She is labeled as a pastel, but a poor example. Honestly I always have trouble telling if they are pastels is they are dull like this... I just can't seem to get it. But i'm still very new to this. Got to start somewhere, right?

That is NOT a pastel, it's a normal.

Definitely not pastel.. can't see any noticeable blushing and it's alien heads are typical light brown. Cutie though! :P

You need to post a pic of the belly and eyes to be sure.
Pastels will have clear bellies and light/green eyes

I'm going to have to agree with the others and say normal

Hard to tell for sure, closer pictures would help. But if I had to say from those, I would say Normal!

I'm gonna say normal.

Easiest way for me to tell poor pastel from exceptional normal is the eyes. Pastels always have green eyes like a cat.

As do some normals.

Belly and eye pictures are not needed - it's not a pastel.

I dont see any pastel in the picture, only a nice normal. And she looks a bit thin too.

No other pics are needed, it's definitely not a pastel. Even faded or dulled pastels are fairly easy to pick out. You didn't pay pastel price did you?

I always have to wonder why anyone would be even considering buying a pastel that you have to ASK - is it a pastel?

With the price of pastels these days, why not just buy a pastel that's clearly a pastel, instead of "rewarding" people who mass produce pastels so dark that they need closer examination to figure out if they are or are not?

Def a normal. A nice looking one though.

As other have said.. Normal.

And also pointed out, normals sometimes have the green eyes/nice belly etc.. so this is NOT a good way to detect.

If you have a pastel that you can't even tell is a pastel.. then just call it a normal. no reason to breed for low quality (my opinion)

But.. remember.. normals are very under rated.. I have seen some amazing normals.. so nothing wrong with a nice normal :D
