Two (almost three) new additions this week

First of all, thanks to Richard Funderburg @ High Seas Reptiles this first girl is not freezing to death in FedEx's Tennessee hub right now. He basically spent all morning and afternoon on the phone today trying to figure out why the package missed the flight here this morning, and then he somehow convinced them to fly it up to Denver this evening so I could go pick her up.

Just a quick pic before quarantine and some alone time. She is beautiful and remarkably docile after her long trip... we love her to death already.

This lovely lady came in earlier this week. I love how dull and faded the yellows are on her.

I'd have an awesome little pewter boy to show off, but he arrived DOA this morning :(

Thanks guys. I am still really bummed about the boy showing up dead, but getting to the girl in time makes up for some of it. 2 hours there, 2 hours waiting, and 2 hours back... totally worth it :D

Question? Is it Really Cold where they were being shipped to? I kinda had something like that happen to me not too long ago. Had two snakes shipped to me and when they got here they were ice cold and as limp as a string of cooked spaghetti. They looked dead and wouldnt move at all! I put them in a couple of bins with heat on em and they came back about 2 hours later. Now they are both doing great and are my 2 best feeders surprisingly.

It's still getting down to the mid 20's-30s at night here, but the DOA was because he regurged in transit. The rat's feet were barely sticking out of his mouth, so I guess he choked to death.

That pewter is a looker for sure :gj: Sorry for the one that came DOA.
