Black Butter x YB Granite

Last week I got 7 eggs from a Yellow Belly Granite female bred by a Black Butter! I'm stoked to see what I might produce in this clutch!

What an awesome unique pairing and what equally awesome combo potential! My only request is that as you produce 4+ gene combos that the world has yet to see, please give them simple names like a jon butter :) At some point in the next couple years when we start seeing 4 and 5 gene combos, it's going to get insane! Granite yellowbelly black butter - maybe just call him black checkers or something :)

Awesome pairing and best of luck on the odds/eggs

The first one is out...He's at least a Black Pastel Butter Granite...Not sure about the YB though...Hopefully I can tell more when the others come out!

A few more are out...I think this one is a Black Pastel Butter Yellow Belly Granite! He's quite a bit lighter (especially the head) and his white sides come up a lot further then the first one out...

My (possible) granite female start eat at last after 4 months of fast.. Hopefully She will be ready this fall... Gonna pair her with my "looker" YB ..

I'm just curious how you could tell the mother was granite? I don't really see alot of speckling so I was just wondering how you tell? The babies are super gorgeous!
