My female spider bp has a bad wobble sometimes too...if it were a person I'd swear it was vertigo.

Yea... We went to a show....They had a female spider.... with a bad wobble. I said NO but my girlfriend wanted it.... Well the breeder gave it to us cheap cuz of the bad wobble for a female.... My gf thinks its "cute" when it spins in circles trying to get a rat haha.
Re: My snake is not to smart.
my female spider isnt very smart either and my female pastel doesnt know how to use her hide she prefers throwing it around her tub instead of getting in it she used to flip her water bowl for fun until i got a ceramic one hehe i win

I recently bought a Spider and I am seeing the effects of the Wobble myself. Due to her rehoming she has not ate yet but i am hoping the Wobble does not effect that I do not want to try to force feed.

No just that one time she bit herself. She got to excited it was dinner and missed the rat and hit herself. Well... She thought he had dinner....Little did she know she was trying to kill herself

I doubt it will. I try to take it real slow with her. I let her get all excited and get that outta the way haha. Cuz once she smells the rat and i open the tub she goes crazy cork screwing everywhere. But i just lower the rat slowly and tap her on the nose. Iv found tapping her on the nose with the rat helps her grab it rather than her strike it out of the air.
Re: My snake is not to smart.
Awhh she's so adorable!! What a silly snake:rolleyes:
Re: My snake is not to smart.
my mojo girl has flipped a hide box over upside down and got in it just like that too, only the hide box was sitting inside the water dish as well. i wanted to correct it for her but she looked so comfy i just opted to let her figure it out for herself, hehe. took like, an hour. just a couple days ago i found her curled up on the warm side and the hide box there had flipped up and my girl was trying to hide her face in it, poor thing. i fixed that one for her cuz she's in shed now & had been hugging the warm side lately so i didnt want her to sacrifice the heat she obviously wanted to go & hide on the cool side.
we're always looking for these little funnies that she does. :D
Re: My snake is not to smart.
Cute spider! That is such an adorable picture!
Re: My snake is not to smart.
Theres always one thing iv wondered when she does it.
She doesnt do it for just the cold side. She will move the hide to the warm side..... And sit on it on the warm side.... I wonder how much heat she looses between the bottom of the tub and through the hide haha
Re: My snake is not to smart.
Awesome. I love it. She may be slow but she makes up for it in cuteness

Thats awesome. My spider male loves to do that in his hides I have no idea why.
Re: My snake is not to smart.
I get a kick of some of my snakes trying to eat the rat either butt first or from the middle..like the rat will magically bend in half and stuff into your mouth...
Silly snakes...you think they would learn.
Re: My snake is not to smart.
haha ur pastel wins the blonde award haha thats awesome its like he/she is saying "why wont I die!!?!?!?!?" haha i think its only that babies that are funny/stupid and do these crazy antics cuz my older ones are a wee bit smarter they just sit there under their hide all day and sleep.... like a bp is supposed to right?

Yea... Iv actually found out... Hats are better than hides..... A BP will choose to wear a hat than use a hide

Yea she has a killer feeding response. Like... Soon as she smells a rat..... its on she will not hesitate to try to come right out the tub and take the rat before u even ready to offer it. But is really shy when u try to hold her. Oh well :D

On another note this thread and the posts actually reminded me of an Am Bully thread with people breeding, ooing and awwing animals that are a genetic mess with congenital defects that shouldn't be bred in the first place :(.

Reminds me of people laughing at a snake with IBD. In pain or not, animals under distress are never funny. Makes me sick to my stomach.
