    What makes a "nice" pinstripe?
I mean, I personally like busy patterns when it comes to pinstripes, but I've seen some really nice reduced ones. But, what do you guys like when it comes to pinstripes? Is the reduced pattern/busy pattern thing genetic?

Reduced pattern, thin even pin stripes, nice gold color, solid golden dorsal stripe. Love the desert pins, I have a desert blast myself. Gotta say desert makes for awesome combos :)

My favorite pins are the ones with nice gold color and a super-reduced pattern, though I prefer thick pinstriping (kinda like an Enchi-pin).

My pin girl isn't super reduced, but she does have a solid back stripe down 100% of her body -- I'm hoping that passes on to her combo offspring :D

I actually don't like the busy-patterned pins at all, so I'm really not as fond of some of the "busying" combos like the granite or the camo ball. But, that's what so neat about ball pythons ...! :)

Thanks, I didn't know everyone was so fond of the reduced patterns! I kind of like crazy patterns, I think it looks cute. I definitely agree on the golden coloring.
I love how with ball pythons, not only do they have hundreds of morphs, but also the slight differences among the same morph, it's amazing. :)

A complete dorsal stripe, very tight and even pinstripes throughout the body and a yellow gold coloration.

My idea of a perfect pinstripe.

was this meant as a joke cause that is not a pinstripe? unless its that paradox one from BHB. Either way, not a good example of a pin.

It's the paradox ghost pinstripe I believe. And everyone is entitled to their own opinion. :gj:

I know that. I wasnt bashing anyone. Personally I think its an awesome snake. I actually wrote what I wrote and then looked closer and saw that it was the paradox pin. It just isnt the textbook type of pin.

I agree, not textbook pin material. My favorite is Craig Montoya's pinstripes; light gold, double stripe, high white along pins, ect. I actually plan on picking up a couple. :D But yes, it is a pretty sick snake.

I'm hoping to get a pinstripe female eventually, so I was just wondering what everyone likes. I'll look into Craig Montoya, do you have a website? I googled him and only found a Fauna ad, I usually use kingsnake.
Anyway, hoping for some awesome morphs in the future. ;)

IMO, Fauna is way better and way safer. I'd suggest you use it. No, he doesn't have a website but I always find him on Fauna. :D My friend has a GORGEOUS female from him! She's so amazing! I'll try and get a picture of her up here, she's the poster child for pins in my opinion!

Then your Google skills are better than mine -- I tried to Google to see what his pins look like and all I found were pictures of a pop singer!

(PS. One thing about Fauna is that you can look up the rep of the person posting the ad without even leaving the site ... :gj: )

I've been a lurker on here for awhile but never posted...

My friend said she was boasting about my pin female and asked me to post some pics. They're cell shots so they aren't the greatest. But enjoy.

This is Allie, produced by Craig Montoya.

I have another pin female produced by Scott Austin I can post if anyone would like to see her. She has a nice reduced pattern but is a darker pin.

@Sarin, I've always thought the ones with the odd patterns but now I've come to realize that they're all nice in their own way. It'll be hard for me to decide which pin to get! Also, Chloe is a very beautiful pinstripe.

@WikidKitty, You should post more! Your friend definitely had a reason to boast, maybe I should purchase a pin from Craig Montoya in the future. Alie is gorgeous, I would love to see your other pinstripe as well. :)

I personally prefer the pins with an actual stripe on their back. That's a must for me.

I like them with full double racing stripes down the back. And I like them olive more than gold. But I really like most pinstripes--they just look totally unlike "normal" ball pythons.

Very nice back stripe on that one, bright and stands out. :D

@Wikidkitty, That one has an interesting pattern on it, I like it!

I tend to like them WITHOUT the back stripe.
