First off, welcome! Thanks for sharing the pics. Those are some really nice looking snakes and I really liked the pics on the rocks. So how many do you have in your collection? Have you bred these guys? How are their temperaments?

Hey welcome aboard!:welcome: Those are some excellent looking bloods. I've had bloods on my "must have" list for quite a while but never really see the nice rich red ones for sale. Do they change over time and get redder as adults? Do you have any juvie pics?

I have bred these a few times Jim,the hatchlings usually tame down fairly well, within the first couple months,so that's not a problem.
Yeah,the outdoor pics on the rocks seem to be a good backdrop for me when taking pics of the Bloods,it really catches their true colors.

If you have the right ones,YES they will turn red,or a similar color.

for years i wanted a blood, beautiful snakes but my courage level is not that high yet :(. i have heard they are really snappy and you have to hold them in a such a special way that you the owner has to find out from handling them. my friend has a blood and she truly lives up to here name lol! i know thats one out of a million bloods but thats the only one i came across besides the reptile expos. i think they are truly beautiful animals, i may get one after tons of research on them.

They really aren't bad in general. A few may stay snappy as adults and they are much more food-motivated than BPs, which just means that getting them out can sometimes be tricky. Other than that, they can be very very calm, easygoing snakes. Don't assume that your friend's blood (unless it's still a baby) has the typical attitude of most. It's good to read up on them and be ready, but you'd be missing out if you let the bad rep scare you. Most don't live up to it. :)

Ive been always fond of bloods, but never tried to keep one in my entire snake-keeping life. :) But lookin at those pictures, and to notice how red they can turn out to be, I know I want one now. Thanks for sharing those awesome pictures :gj:
