Latest Craigslist Steal!

This past weekend I attended a reptile show. I went in with a pocket full of cash but left with nothing because there was so little there. I was really disappointed. There is another show in a month but I was still bummed. Tonight when I got home I looked on Craigslist as always and found a ball python dream ad. For $200 this is what I got. Sorry for the crappy pic's but I checked each snake quickly, weighed each one, and snapped a quick photo before putting them in their bins.

975g Male Seller called it a normal but I call it a low grade pastel. He has green eyes, a really light color, and lots of blushing. What do you think?

I think the female is gravid (she felt very bumpy but very angry) and all look pretty healthy. Of course I will have to prove out the hets but even at poss hets it is a great deal. The nice guy even gave me 100 frozen jumbo mice!!!! I am so happy right now I could cry!

Simply amazing! I see a ball python or two every few weeks in the Seattle/Portland area and they usually come with 55g fish tanks and somebody wants $300+ for the poor snake and some crappy fish tank. I'd crap myself if I ever saw a good deal on craigslist.

Amazing find

I occasionally find a good deal on craigslist but its usually when I don't have the extra money to spare. However I did get a nice '10 spider female today for $130. The guy originally wanted $350 for her & a little tank but thankfully I talked him down.

I agree, that's a low quality pastel, it has the right pattern and color (more or less).

There's never anything like that on the craigslist in my area... not that I need that many snakes, but if I ever saw any kind of cheap morph on there I'd be happy haha

Someone stole a Spider Female from me off craigslist (not literally, I just was in contact with the guy saying I'd buy her from the get go and he freakin sold her to someone else w/o telling me :mad:) !! So if you're the one who bought the Spider female listed in orange county ... :colbert::mad::rage: !!!!!

Congrats and nice find. Craigslist is definitely hit and miss; I found my 50% white, male piebald on CL a while back....and I picked him up for about half market price. :D
