    Victorias Secret...like or not like?
    I don't know, I'm bored so I just thought I'd ask. Obviously I like them since I'm a dude...I don't know any dude who doesn't like VS..

I like their clothes and body stuff like sprays and lotions but as far as their under things go, I'm not a fan. They just don't make any bras that fit me correctly, and their sizes and fittings are just crap.

The wife likes their PJ's and what not.. I've never seen the point to the more outlandish stuff..I think a woman cooking breakfast in one of my button up shirt's is far sexier than some see thru lace and silk thing..

    Lol, you boys.

I don't like their kid section. I think it's completely inappropriate, some parents are less than modest when buying their little girls clothes these days....

I'll give them credit for high quality comfort, but good grief they are expensive! I'll take Gordmans over that high priced place any day.

    Victoria's Secret has a kids section ???

As a woman (ps, I'm a woman): I mostly wish the salewomen wouldn't assault me with measuring tapes as soon as I wander in looking for an underwire-free bra. I'm not keen on lifting my arms over my head so that some strange woman can measure the circumference of my boobs in front of a half dozen petrified and embarrassed husbands trying to shop for Christmas gifts for their wives.

I think that Gretchen Wilson said it best..

"Victoria's Secret.. Well their stuff is real nice, but I can buy the same damn thing on a Wal-Mart shelf half price.. And still look sexy, just as sexy, as those models on t.v.. I don't need no designer tag to make my man want me."

    ;)
I think that pretty much sums up my thoughts on their store, lol.

They are WAY over priced, but there is NO WAY that bras from any other store compare. Any type you need/want is there...and it's less expensive than plastic surgery lol. :D

I don't get the hype, lol. I buy these super comfy bras that are Fruit of the Loom and they also are good push-up's, too. I think sometimes their's do a little too much and crosses into an area I call "false advertising" hahaha.. If I was meant to be bigger, I would have been. To each their own though :)

Yep, at least the one in our area does. It's for preteens, which I consider kids, and teens. The shirts/shorts/skirts are stuff I would consider club clothes. Mid-drift shirts, SHORT skirts, shorts that I would call underwear, and shirts, that are sports bras-how you could call them shirts  There are stuffed animals, and other girly kid stuff in there. Weather or not they claim it is or isn't for kids....it is. They call the section 'Pink', the one in our location is clearly for young teens to preteens. Some of it is geared towards college girls, but a good chunk of it is clearly for young teens.

Here are some examples of the clothes in there. My sister was saying that she would wear a medium in the Pink store and she wears a size 0....that's not adult sizes IMO.

    http://media.victoriassecret.com/pro...15917_CMYK.jpg
    http://media.victoriassecret.com/pro...g3/V315413.jpg

Ok, yeah this is a normal teen girl's PJ shirt with text
    http://media.victoriassecret.com/pro...g3/V311839.jpg

    But these?!
    http://media.victoriassecret.com/pro...g3/V310901.jpg
    http://media.victoriassecret.com/pro...g3/V311840.jpg

And there are little tiny 'shorts' that say things like "take it off" on the butt and other really inappropriate things for teens to be wearing around.

Maybe I'm too conservative when it comes to this stuff......

I also totally agree with you about it being uncomfortable to be felt up by an old lady in front of husbands and kids!

I'm talking about support for people that have had children, like myself, that any old bra wouldn't do wonders for, like some of the ones at VS. Not talking false advertisement here lol

Or someone who needs something quality that doesn't dig into their shoulders. IMO nothing can compare to their bras, but the $50 price tag makes it hard to own very many-for many of us at least. The women in my family exchange VS gift cards every year for Christmas so we can get a new one. It kind of defeats the purpose because you still spend the money, but you also get an x-mas gift bought!

I bet you boys are just loving this

Oh I totally agree with you, and I honestly only own like two bras from that store, all my others are like regular cheap bras, and they work, BUT, not as well as my VS bras. I got suckered into opening a credit card for VS (woops!) completely on accident...I thought she meant a rewards card...but whatever, I charged my giftcard, charged the rest to my new (not wanted) credit card, and paid it off later. I don't go near that store because now I have plastic...and you know how that goes...:colbert:

Honestly, most of their bras just don't hug my boobs the way I would like them to be hugged. Mine are NOT small AND I am a mother... There is ONE bra from VS that I ABSOLUTELY love! Yes it's 50 dollars but they make my rack look AMAZING, lol! Picks everything up and out like they should be and not smooshed in or miss shapen. I only own 2 of them but if I had the cash, i'd totally buy more... Undies, well lets just not go there. I can NEVER find any that fit the way I like.:D

Haha this is a funny thread. I personally do not like their undies, the bottoms ride up and the bras that are big enough for me bulge out weird on the sides. I would be happy receiving some pj's from there but I'd never buy them, too pricey for my student budget. I actually prefer target or American eagle much more.

I can leave it.. I've found great bras at target that actually fit me and make me not feel like Im being suffocated.

I think part of the problem is that I've never found a useful associate in the store. I ask for a measurement and they won't even get near me to measure me. One time they even tried to SIZE ME THROUGH MY SWEAT SHIRT. It doesn't work like that. Then tried to tell me I was half the size I was and get me to try on bras in that size. I think I walked out.

Or, I'll ask for a certain style (underwire, for my big sweater cows) and they will insist on strapless or wire-free or something. and I'm ugh just direct me to what I think i want!

Before I went into college I did have a style of bra from there that I loved, but they discontinued. I still have some of them but they are so warped and stretched. JC penny and Target are my go to stores now. My problem is that no one makes cute bras in unusual sizes! Ladies! Unite! We can fix this!

I feel you sister... They larger bra's at Walmart and such tend to make my boobs look pointy and not very flattering. The biggest size they carry there is DD and those don't fit. DD's at VS do fit though, weird.

Thats right! I don't want to look like granny, or like Madonna with those pointy boob things. I don't need ta-ta cannons. Its not that I need like a 34DD or something, its that the D's stop start at 34 usually. Sometimes I can find a 32 but they're always the plain tan/black/white bras. I need to trade up for something lacy. (American Dad anyone?)

Wish I could shop at VS, but they don't even make bras in my size... for a company that supposedly celebrates the curves of a woman, they seem to dislike women over a D-cup. :( They always claim to have larger sizes, but I've tried them - and they're about 1-2 cup sizes off in reality. I do like their body sprays & PJs, though!

This seems to be the issue with a lot of bra manufacturers. :/ Big ta-tas get very little love from the undergarment industry.

Yup!! You'd think it would be the opposite, but nooooooo... anything over a D-cup is impossible to get in the "fancy/cute" stores! They make my size (38DDD) at places like Lane Bryant, but the rest of me is too small for their clothing - so they don't fit around the ribcage or shoulders. I have found some nice/well-fitted bras at Nordstrom, but I can only afford those every once in a while. :(

Ok no joke! It's not even that some places don't have the right size it's just that the bigger bras like I wear (34D) are never in cute patterns or styles and when they are they look scary large not cute like the little ones, I don't even want to try them on theyre such monsters haha.

Totally, LOL. :D I can find my size occasionally, but they're usually VERY expensive and so not cute... the term "over the shoulder boulder holder" is appropriate for most of what I end up getting. Just once I'd like something cute & sexy, but strong/big enough to contain the girls.

Hmmmmm... if only I possessed the talent, I'd love to start a business with this idea.

I'm at 32dd and they are impossible to find! Especially in the right shape. Mine are close together and more round than apparently anyone else with a dd because the shape of the cups just never fits! I used to get these great bras from hanes but they discontinued the style and I haven't been able to find a good bra since! The last one I thought was great until the underwires actually rubbed my skin raw after one wear!

P.S. My wife hates going in there with me. The sales women always ask these sideways comments to me like.."so see any thing you like?"..That's my cue to walk clear across the store pick up the most god awefull slutties thing I can find and yell back to her.."Yea I'd like to try this on.." they have to let you..its the law!! :D
