Help me please.
My ball has stuck himself in a decoration that he really cant fit in, he went in head first and only about half a foot of his tail is sticking out, I tried pulling a little bit to no gain.
What should I do?

Re: Help me please.
I wouldn't try to pull him out - you might hurt him. Let him come out on his own. If he was able to get in there then he should be able to get out when he decides to.
Just wait him out. Good luck

How long has he been stuck? He should be able to get himself out though....

Re: Help me please.
Overnight at the most, found him like this in the morning.

Re: Help me please.
If he is still in there after say a week goes by, then you can start to worry.
He went in ,...he can get out.

Re: Help me please.
Once he does come out - remove that item from his enclosure to avoid having this problem again.
He will eventually come out. Resist the temptation to help him - pulling on him could do major damage to him.

I agree wait he will come out on his own then take the decoration out. You could fill the void with foam if you really like the decoration but let it completely dry and air out before putting it back in the cage.

he is halfway out but it looks like he hurt himself....

Most of the time when a snake can go into something they can get out
Of it. But, they can get themselves into trouble. Possibly put the decor on the coolside so he wants to come out of it to warm up. Or spraying him directly with a bit of water to make him come out of it. If he really can't get out you might have to break what ever it is to get him out of it. I've had to do the same with a tokay gecko. But never a ball. Though I don't use tank decor. When he does get out of there have betadine on hand to clean any wounds. Put this on daily. Do not use neosporine. Only betadine. You can get it at any drug store it's an iodine solution and is the only thing o use for cleaning and preventing infection with wounds. I'm sure he will be ok but you're going to have to do something without stressing him out too much. Hope this helps!

How is he? Did he get out yet?
-
I would say that the bp will be fine, it is just being a stubborn little thing.
I have a cork tunnel log in my tank and its a decent size, but I've learned once my bp gets in there, there is no way I can get him out. But I know for sure he can come out on his own. IT make seem like he is stuck but hes most likely not, he may just love the security of such a tightly enclosed space.... Just like my bp haha. Lets just say i regret putting that log in there but I let him have it because I know it makes him feel secure.

Hi,
If he is actually cutting himself is theree no way you can get him out by breaking the thing he is stuck in?

Can you post any Pics
Of him stuck? Has he gotten out yet? What exactly is he stuck in? I think it would help everyone alot better if we could either see the decoration and the snake stuck in it. Or if you described it in detail. Let us know so we can help to the best of our ability.
