Aww, well I hope it happens for you! I got shot down, too.. My grandpa said no snake in the house, so I now have to wait until my boyfriend moves here so I can keep him/her at his house :rolleyes:

Ooo very pretty! That's why I never got snakes till I was 21 years old. Mom is terrified of snakes and it took awhile to get a place that I could keep snakes-I was a student.

Fingers crossed that Mom will change her mind. I will bring him to the WARE show in April. All you have to do is show up and he's yours if she changes her mind!

My mom wouldn't let me get one until I was 16 and working. Once she saw I was responsible, and could pay for everything, she decided to give in. That was many years ago, and I still have my first snake and many more now.

Yeah, it would probably help if I were working. I have been trying to find a job for the past 5 months. Nothing close enough for me to be able to get there. If I had reliable transportation, I would likely have more options.

I guess I missed something here or there :confused: .... this is your bp that you bought but cannot keep it at your house so "Robin" is hanging on to it for you till you can?

She saw him at a show in September and liked him but couldn't get him at the time. I held him for her. If her mother lets her get him, I am gifting him to her.

That's awesome. I hope your mom changes her mind! I was lucky, my folks let me keep whatever critters found their way into our house... 25+ years later I'm still keeping snakes. :D
